Mysharonawrote a review of Mountain Hardwear Epic Jacket - Men's on July 12, 2005
Fellow Outdoor Enthusiasts,
I have had the epic for one month now. I live in central Florida, activities include camp, kayak, bike, and improvisational jog. I recently adorned the epic during rain while setting up camp. The jacket sheds rain nicely, glad I ordered the XL (seems a bit smaller than TNF XL's), and "breathed" well with the exertion that accompanies camp setup. The periodic brew cool down helped. I wore the shelter this past weekend while on the bike. A feeder band from "Dennis" struck. The jacket kept me dry, kept the music source in the front pocket dry, the hood stayed put on my templethose of you who live in the south know that breathability only goes so far, so yes, it does get clammy. I am partial to MH products owning some for five plus years with no problem. The jacket is a welcome addition to the outdoor stash and is but one of my favorite thing. Thank you.
