Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This boot is fantastic. It has great buckles with micro and macro adjustments (cuff only), and canting adjustment. My favorite feature is the flex/lean adjustment (up to -12) by replacing the screws in the rear of the cuff with plastic plugs. Top one for -6, both for -12. They have a good power strap. Flex is stiff but with the plugs you can adjust it to your liking. I use them with super aggressive slalom club racers as well as my Kung Fu's and JJ?s. I am really happy with the performance and flex patterns.
There is one major problem: THE LINER SUCKS, it?s REALLY cold even with boot warmers you can feel the cold coming in from the outside when skiing. I wanted to give the stock liner a shot, had the ankles molded and was disappointed after using them about 8 times. I don't suffer from bad circulation, my hands and feet are usually very warm. I suggest not even using the stock liner at all. I did, and my toes froze.
Do yourself a favor and get an INTUITION liner, it will change the way you feel in your boots forever. I use the medium volume POWERWRAP (powerwrap + is a little higher volume and I recommend it). I am a true 9.5, weigh 185 without gear and use the mondo 26.5 boot. If you must have a tongue, use the Pro Tongue or the Luxury. FYI these liners can be reused in new boots. My current liner has almost 200 days on it and the SX 120 is the third boot they are going in. I remolded them once. They are incredibly warm and once properly fitted super comfortable while maintaining a snug fit.
I also suggest the Sole Ed Viesturs Signature Edition Footbed (http://www.backcountry.com/sole-ed-viesturs-signature-edition-footbed?ti=U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM6c29sZToxOjE6c29sZQ ). BC does not sell Intuition liners but check them out here:
