I have to say- I am very impressed with these shoes. Out of all the "barefoot" shoes, and we have tried a lot, these are the wife and my favorites for road running and gym. Personally, I like the look of the NB zero shoes the best but they just don't fit and feel as good as these do- your miles may vary. There is a small arch in sole design but its not stiff and is as pliable as the vibram sole -so its not there for support which is the whole idea of barefoot shoes. I actually like it because it rounds out the sole of the shoe so its not a flat and really hugs your foot.

If there is a negative side to these shoes it would be the smell- I wore them barefoot for a couple months and noticed a pretty ripe smell from them so I have gone to wearing a thin running sock and the smell has gone away. Plus, they are machine washable- so says the box- but I have not tried that and the smell has gone away since wearing a sock.

All-in-all a great shoe for running and training. Its a nice feeling when you find a shoe you like.

I just spent a couple hours with this pack and it may be their best pack design yet.
Things I noticed:

1. The thicker belt and shoulder straps are great and should be on all of the z’packs.
2. The bigger front pocket with half moon zipper is great! This also should be on all of the z’packs. The vertical zippered pockets on all the other models just do not work as well.
3. I have owned a lot of packs that have “front access” and this pack (finally) does it right. If you look close at the picture you notice that the whole front can be opened with only two buckles to unclip. It’s really easier and quicker to open the front than open the top.

Only one bad thing to say about this pack- it’s too big. If this was a 55L pack, I would love to own one. If they take the new belts, shoulder straps, front half moon pocket, and front access and patch it on the z55. That will be one great pack.

I just got to run and workout in these today and they are great. I am so happy they do not have the annoying zipper pocket in the back but have a pocket on the side with velcro that will be great for the media player etc. There is also an inner key pocket in the front/ side.

The boxer/compression short inner liner is butter soft and I never once felt wet when the rest of me was soaked in sweat. I also have the north face and nike 2in1 shorts and these have a slimmer straight leg and flat look- which looks really good- I am not a fan of the flair’d out legs on running shorts.
Overall- I am very happy that I got both colors. I will get heavy use out of these.

I love the Summit Series Gear because of the quality, fit, performance and dang good looks. I have three of these and thinking of rounding out the set with the green one to top it off. The sleeves like all the summit series are long and the fit is athletic and so when I’m running, climbing..whatever I’m doing in the spring, fall and winters in Colorado- it fits great and keeps my core warm. I seriously wear these everywhere-

I find these also amazing at the gym. At my local rec. center they have a ton of fans blowing on you wherever you are and it’s easy to get chilled when the sweat starts rolling. I find these jackets light enough and breathable enough to work out in.

One last thing- these jackets look top notch too. I wear them to the pub / out whatever. As long as a tie is not the dress code I’m in this.

I got my girl friend a pair of 2010 contacts a year ago and have been jealous of them since she got them. They are very good quality boots. I finally got a pair of them about a month ago.

I had to buy these boots from another vendor (was out of stock in my size) but wanted to just comment on these a little- I love these boots. They are true to size, stiff and have good sized toe box. They also lock your heel in place really well. I wore them right out of the box on a technical and difficult trip where I carried around 40-50lbs of gear round trip about 30 miles. I had no blisters or break in problems.

I love this jacket. Light, packable, and soft. Its stretchy and quiet, not crunchy like other light weight rain jackets. It has a nice alpine / athletic cut so its not boxy like other shells. Best of all- the hood, skirt and sleeves are elastic-band so there are no cords. Best fitting hood I have worn since my old sequel storm king.
