I have been riding for 10 years and I have seen a lot of new gear. K2 Cinche is the top of the line in innovation. The bindings are super user friendly and a ton easier to adjust than Flows. With the normal straps and the flip down back, the cinche is easy to slap on and easy to adjust when you want to loosen the binding on the lift.
My concern is however in the durability. On my second day of riding with the cinches I bent the metal casing on the wire that hooks into the lever. The casing slid on the wire and became displaced. I managed to move it back but not with out bending and denting it all too hell. This is no good for 200 dollar bindings on the second day riding on them. I will be contacting K2. Finally, the bindings did pop open on me when I landed a large jump; a problem I never had with flows.
Conclusion, K2 is on to something. But wait for the next model so they can work out some kinks in the cinche.
