Hey Wally, thanks for the info. Just wanted to clarify that by BC I meant British Columbia, although out there I was frequently in the backcountry. Kendo seems perfect for what I'll be doing out East - alot of hardpack and ice in Quebec, with a few weekends in the slackcountry around Jay Peak. I do love the trees though and try to duck in where I can. So having said that, and considering the non-extreme sidecut, you're thinking the 177cm would be good? I'm always hesitant as I'm not too tall by any means...

Hey, just wanted an opinion. I've been skiing in BC for the past 5 years and am currently on 176cm Volkl Gotamas (I'm 5'6 and 160 pounds). I've recently moved out East and am looking at picking up a pair of Kendos as I'll be spending most time on hard pack and ice. I'm not sure whether I should drop back down to 170cm or stick with the 177cm. Any thoughts?
