Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size

Will be returning this because it doesnt have what I'm looking for. No wrist gaiters , just elastic thumb holes to put your gloves through. This is the second jacket ive bought that said it has 'wrist gaiters' and it does not.

Also, no storm flap over the zipper makes it vulnerable to wind and ice build up.

The pockets are okay shape and quality. The chest pockets arent really functional, and all pockets are velcro. I would mich rather have zippers throughout.

The good:
Super warm, comfy jacket. Looks great. Mainly just didnt meet my expectations for a quality jacket. But if you're in a budget and arent picky, this would make a great purchase.

Kind of disappointed for two reasons on this jacket. At first glance it looks and feels great. BUT, one, the website says this has wrist gaiters, it does not.

Second, the liner fits kind of tight in my chest compared to the shell itself. Just can't move around as I would like to. I do have broad shoulders for my size though, so that's probably part of it.

I haven't had the chance to take this on the mountain yet, but I'm in line with all the other reviews. This thing has everything I would be looking for in a pack, and it's super stylish. I took it on a couple hour fall hike, and it was super comfortable to wear.

I agree with one other reviewer that it would be nice to have clips/storage for the lengthy straps on it, even when using the waist belt and chest belt, the slack on the straps just kind of hang around. Not a big deal by any means, but it would be nice to have a place to put them so they don't snag on a tree branch or something.

At this sale price, you should definitely go for it. Great price for a great bag.

Just got these(but I got them at a local shop for 270, score), they seem like a very solid boot. Immediate comfort when you put them on, and they feel like they will pack out nicely.

The boa system is awesome, nice and snug.

They are definitely stiff, but probably the most comfortable boots I've ever walked in.

I love this jacket so much, I almost thought about buying a second one to have for when this one wears out in a few years...just incase stoic didn't sell it anymore or something.

Just wow, the lining is SUPER soft, like, softer than the Mountain hardwear monkey man fleece soft.
I've had no issues with the water/wind proofing. Never been out in a downpour, but it does fine in wet snow, rain, and definitely wind.

Unless I'm going to be outside for a long period of time, just a t-shirt and this jacket are plenty enough for literally any temperature. I walked a mile or so to the bars in colorado when it was about 10 degrees out. only had a tshirt on and it was a warm walk.

Literally my only complaint is that they had solid colors available...the ones they have are awesome, but I would probably buy a second jacket right now if they just had a plain, solid black one.

Anyways, dont think, just buy this jacket..it's amazing. And stoic has lifetime warranty on everything, so you have no worries, literally.

Seriously, how warm can this be? I just got it in the mail and the pockets have no lining whatsoever...so they are basically vents if they are open. I get you aren't supposed to ride with pockets open, but seriously, for a jacket that retails for 260 bucks, how are the pockets not completely covered on the inside?

How much would you layer to wear this jacket when it's 0 degrees F outside?
