Any issues with snow flipping up from the tails and sliding down your neck/back?
Slippers usually make my feet sweat too much and my wife gets on my case if I wear running shoes in the house. These are a great alternative and are supportive when standing for long periods.
I've used this with a family of 5 in more remote car camping situatuions for trip 2-7 days long with no issues. This is a great choice for larger families or ones looking for a little extra room. I'd been holding off on the purchace because there aren't a lot of good choices in tents this size. Tons of room, sturdy, and has held up to moderate incliment weather so far. The set up is easy too because of the color coordination, just don't get confused by the 3 orange pole sleves and the corresponding 2 orange poles and one grey (center) pole.
These stake work well in just about any ground type and are easy to pull out with the cord. I've pounded these in compacted gravel with a rock and then used them a few days later on the beach with no problems or mangled stakes.
