I like hiking, then drinking a few double ipa's afterwards. Can't think of a better day, unless I'm on the lake doing the same.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Well I picked one up on SAC, I'm pretty stoked that I did. The thing I love most about this shirt is the ability to wear it all year. I was wearing this in the middle of summer at 95-100 degree weather. I wore it today with a stoic breath 90 long sleeve underneath at 40 degrees. Breathes well on hot days. Doesn't quite cut the wind enough on the chilly days, but that's why stoic makes the monolith. On sizing I have a 45" chest and 36-37" arms and wear an xl. With stoics sizing if I want baselayer fit I choose L if I want to layer underneath I go with the XL

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Leaks under pressure. Heading out for weekend trip right now. I had my wife put her pack on to adjust the fit, and she says her back is getting wet. Pull out the bladder to check the lid, it's snug and there's droplets around the hose quick connect.

I had heard of other people having issues with the antidote leaking once pressure was applied, so I placed the bladder in the pack the night before to see if there was leakage. It didn't happen till the pack was being worn. So now I'm sitting here waiting for my wife's down sleeping bag to dry.
I've always been a fan of camelbak. But I have no faith in the new bladder.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Saw the price on SAC and purchased instantly, La Sportiva for $50! Sign me up. I just wish I would have read the reviews first. Pulled these outta the box and was instantly worried about how small they looked. Put them on and the worry turned to dread. My first return in the several dozen SAC orders. These were just WAY too tight. I don't know if sizing up would fix the problem, these seem to be designed for a low volume(skinny) foot. I never thought my feet were particularly wide, oh well . Other than that, this shoe was pretty good looking. The sole is completely different than any other shoe I've seen. So in the looks dept. I would give them at least 4 stars, but due to the very odd sizing I give it a 2

I dig the drawstring cause it help keep the beanie in place. At its most open setting (does that make sense to anyone but me) it hugs my head just right. No durability issues as of yet. But I've only been wearing it a month and a half. But I have like 30 other pieces from stoic that have treated me well so far.

This is my favorite shirt for everything, hiking, relaxing, you name it. I love how light it is. Dries incredibly fast. I am pretty careful about trying not to snag it when I'm trail running, but I have and haven't noticed any runs in the fabric. As for sizing, I have a 45" chest . I choose the xl just for a little more comfort and didn't want to have the nips on full display at all times. If i was using this as a base layer I would go with the large (as i do with the long sleeve version). As far as the arm lenght, I dig it. I have sleeveless shirts to show of the guns when needed.

Just got them out of the box and wanted to put a sizing comment out there because I was a little worried with sizing like m/l and l/xl. To me that is a little to relative. I wear a size 12 shoe in just about everything. If the toebox is big I can get away with an 11.5. That being said I ordered theses in a M/L and I really like the fit. The little down scoops on the ankle go just under my ankle-bally thingy(technical term). The azure is a touch darker than what's pictured, but I would still call it light-to-baby blue. Hope this helps with your sizing.

Maybe a bit late but I just picked these up. Sizing on my face these things are tiny. I would consider myself on the bigger face size so it's my fault for not checking the description that says medium. Width wise these are perfect, nose pads were awesome, but on my face they look like my daughter's sunglasses. Definitely would look better on a small face.

At this point it almost seems pointless to comment on these, but I will. I am pretty new to non-cotton socks. The majority of my socks are the ones you buy on sale at target. You know the ones that are 30 pairs for like $10. These socks have put an end to that. I've had these for about a month now and have worn them several times. They have been machine washed at least 4-5 times and machine dried at least once. No signs of wear and still THE ABSOLUTE MOST COMFORTABLE SOCK I'VE EVER WORN. Thanks for your time.

While I don't have a picture I could give you a slightly colorblind guy's opinion.
I would say they are a dark brown to an olive color. I asked the old lady and she went with an olive as well. Definitely a good color choice. I got the denim(read BRIGHT blue) as well. They are so comfy you don't care what color they are.

Well I just got them out of the box expecting these ugly(but cheap!) things that were pictured on bc. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled out this pretty sweet pair of shoes. Plan on hiking Zion tomorrow in the rain so I'll try to update when I get a chance.
The main reason I wanted to comment was I ordered these at 4 pm yesterday!! Got the free 2 day shipping from backcountry. I LOVE this site (almost as much as SAC) and as soon as I figure out how to upload pix from my iPad you can see how much better these look than the photo above.

Picked these up last week. Tried them on and they're pretty soft. Took them out hiking this week in 20 degree weather, and while I was busy taking off shirts and coats due to sweating getting cold and putting everything back on, my legs felt perfect. No sweat, awesome warmth. Wore them 3 days in a row and no stank, at least my co-worker didn't complain. Sizing seems pretty accurate. I'm 6'2" 190# usually wear a 36x36 pant(34" length exposes my ankles when I sit down) and the large fits great. Picked em up on SAC but definitely worth $50
