It's fine to use as a carry on. I take backpacks up to 50L as a carry on without any issues.
48ºF outside. I went out wearing just this over my gym shirt (breathable thin). Loved the ride, kept me really warm. My face was the only one feeling the cool wind.
Definitely runs a little large. I never bought anything other than large, but I went XL with this one and got the perfect (very snug) fit.
To those complaining about fit, this baby is supposed to be worn over all your winter layers, so it's meant to run big. If you want it snug get at least a size smaller (I can't see why you'd want it any time other than winter though).
My question is how big does it pack in the (provided) stuff sack? Since it's not real down, I wonder if the compressibility is comparable.
I'm 185cm tall, should I go for a long or can I fit on a regular?
Perfect size for a day hike. Love it. Always pack my softshell, plenty of food, two 1L water bottles and there's infinite room for extra stuff. Fits perfect, I barely feel it's weight. To be honest, I feel the weight when I take it off, and I'm like "omg ! This was all on me? I didn't really feel it".
The reason I bought this was because of a shoulder injury that prevented me from carrying backpacks for a while. Now I'm better and I'm never carrying a backpack on day hikes, I'm only taking this pack. Love it.
Great sandal, awesome for hiking. The vibram sole makes a big difference. I like the fit, although it's not perfect. The sandal tends to loosen up after a few hours but it's just a matter of pulling the strap tighter and keep going. Also the strap is kinda too long so it's always hanging and dragging on the floor. Those are minor issues, so I'm still voting 4 stars because I use these all the time, both for hiking and to work. Great product.
Got my number and it was half a size too big. Same problem as other buyers, so go half a size smaller on your purchase.
Can't live without it. Great bag, a little pricey, but it's a great bag.
Totally my fault, but i didn't realize how small these runners were. They are a bit bigger than wrist size. I like them anyway. Good quality and a good addition to my webbing gear.
