Familiarity: I've used it several times

It mostly works as described to keep the screw points contained, but there isn't much to keep the screws in place. Once in the roll-up and secured the shorter screws can slide out. That's not likely to happen in a pack, but a more secure strap would be helpful. I'm going to keep using it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I love this jacket! Amazingly warm for such a thin layer, and the hood works great under a helmet. I used it exclusively as my mid-layer for this season of ice climbing, and was never dissatisfied. Good mobility, warmth, durability and function for such a simple jacket.

I bought this go with the Mad Rock Mad Lock; it works OK but not great. I generally don't like twist locks and this one is no different; after a couple of uses I can already feel sand in the lock and can't clear it. Not really big enough for more than one clove hitch, and not light enough to warrant the drawbacks. Stick with the BD Mini-Pearabiner.

I bought these shoes with the hope they could be my miracle do-all shoe: Comfort, Edging, Fit, Toe Hooking, Trad, Sport, Etc. They are quite comfortable, but seem to run at least 1/2 size large, and not the best fit with Morton's toe. They are great trad shoes, comfortable all day, but they are not great for edging or aggressive bouldering as they are neither down-turned or down-cambered.
