Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This base layer is waaaaaaaaaaaaay warm! A nice form fitting layer that has never bunched on me or even moved up my arms a bit while climbing. I knew HH put out a top notch product but hesitated because of the price. I'm so sorry I waited, I could have had several HH products for the price I wasted on cheaper stuff. No more penny pinching on gear for this guy!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I used this stuff when I was DWS'ing in Mallorca this last summer. Even after repeated dunks in the ocean, this stuff was still on my hands! I've also used it indoors and it's nice for an hour or two, especially nice when the gym you're in doesn't allow loose chalk.

I really like this base layer, it fits me perfectly. It's usually hard to find stuff that's long enough without being super wide, I'm 6'2" and all torso...lol. But this is nice and form fitting with sleeves that are long enough. Doesn't bunch under my mid layer when I need it. We will see how well it keeps me warm when I go on a little alpine adventure next week

When I first put these on, they felt a little stiff, I've never owned an approach shoe before. But I wore them for a few days to break them in a bit. Now they are super comfy and easy to dial in the laces so there are no pressure points. While wearing them around my village and stuff, I noticed that they pick up all kinds of little pebbles and stuff...lol. These things are almost as sticky as my dedicated climbing shoes! Long story short, I love 'em.

I was looking for pants or shorts for a DWS trip to Mallorca this summer when I stumbled on these. I have several pairs of prAna pants and love the fit and feel of them. These lived up to the brands quality and fit. Plus they stood up to hard climbing over 4 days on sweet ocean cliffs. I would be completely dry within about 20 min of getting out of the water and in the humid climate off the coast of Spain, these kept me dry while hitchiking and wandering the island. I would recommend these to anyone not afraid of going full Euro style...lol. They definitely fall between the knees and ankles but I dig the fit. Plus they looked good as new after I washed the saltwater out of them when I returned, no discoloration at all.

I tried a pair of these on in a local store this summer and loved them, went home and ordered them on here ($30 cheaper). For me, I have to only wear them when it's really cold as my feet sweat a lot, even in flip flops lol. Now that the temps have dropped where I live, these boots are keeping my feet nice and toasty. I have also used them on light hiking trails and the grip is amazing! Great boot for a winter hike then a pint at the pub after, without looking like you just treked all over...lol

I absolutely love this harness! I've used it everywhere in Europe from sport climbs to alpine. I'm a fairly skinny guy for my height 6'2", and the medium fits perfectly. I have enough room to adjust for layers as well. I've definitely abused this thing over the past year and a half and it still looks close to new. Even rubbing on the sharp rocks in Germany's southern Alps, it stood up, took the beating, and even kept me feeling perfectly safe during a sketchy fall!

I would recommend this to anyone who won't be in a hanging belay for more than 30 min or so, because it doesn't have the padding for that unless you're layered up.

I have worked outside for the past 10 years in the military and have struggled to stay warm with military issue gear in the winter. These are by far THE BEST I've ever had to keep warm. They are super soft and comfortable, thin enough to not bunch in my boots, and they keep me warm enough in freezing conditions. I can't wait to use them on my alpine climbs this winter!!!

I got these after being frustrated over wearing pants to a climb and finding that it's too hot for pants, wishing I'd worn shorts. Not a problem anymore!

I'm 6'2" and have really long legs, usually with zip off pants, the zipper is right on my knee, causing discomfort over long hikes in. These fall just below my knee and the zipper is super slim and comfortable, I don't even notice it.

I got a pair of these because I needed something that would roll up and stay up, the snaps do that perfectly. I was surprised though when I first put them on, they are by far the most comfortable pants I've ever worn! Super stretchy and durable, I've used them for climbing and hiking, they still look like they did the day I bought them. They are so comfy that I find myself wearing them all the time, so much so that I just bought the other 2 colors!

They don't show it in any pics but the leg cargo pocket has 2 zippers, one on top and one in the front of the pocket, this is a great design because when I'm in the car and want to access the pocket I don't have to worry about anything falling out because the front zipper is now on top!

I've used several brands of chalk since I first started climbing a little over a year ago and found they all dried my hands out like crazy, to the point of cracking around my knuckles.

This chalk does the complete opposite! It dries up my sweaty palms and lets me quit worrying about my painful fingers, now the only pain I get is from the rock, not the chalk. I doubt I will use any chalk other than BD White Gold from here on out.

This thing is great! Super sturdy construction, the price is great for someone like me on a budget. I got this so I could quit spilling my climbing chalk bag at my local bouldering gym. The zippered pocket is perfect for my ID, keys, cell phone, and money for drinks after a good session.
