I have used these pants several times now and overall i enjoy them.
THe combo hard/ soft shell construction is very versatile, protection of the Gore Pro Shell in areas where you need it, seat, and front of the legs. WHile the soft shell lets your legs breath and not work up a sweat. I have used them rock climbing, skiing, and alpine climbing so far. My only dislikes is the pocket, and they are not great in cold weather, you really need a warm base layer in colder temps. I have some concerns with the durability of the soft shell fabric as it feels pretty thin.. time will tell. Over all I am happy with my purchase and would likely buy them again.

I have put this jacket to the test over the last several months, driving rain and snow around Maroon Bells in CO, skiing, and some climbing. I feel it is particularly suited for climbing, with the integrated removable foam in the waist to keep the jacket from riding up under your harness. Of course with the Gore Pro Shell construction it will keep you warm and dry no matter what!

After a winter season in Colorado of skiing and climbing, these are a great bib. Bomber construction, they fit well, the superb water profess and breath ability of the gore pro fabric is excellent! Really is guaranteed to keep you dry. They are also light weight and very pack able. If they ever wear out I would most certainly get another pair!

I have put these mitts through the wringer over the last several seasons from wet cold New England , to dry cold Colorado. Skiing, ice climbing, just being out in the cold! The leather palms have held up extremely well and the Gore shell does not disappoint, they most defiantly keep your hands dry. The high pile fleece liner has also held up well, on really cold days a liner or a hand warmer is helpful to keep the fingers toasty ( I am prone to cold fingers). If you are looking for a superb quality gore tex mitt with a removable shell , look no further!

I have owned my alpnist bibs for one full year now Fall, Winter, Spring, and a Summer. This is what I have to say....
Over all these things are bomb proof. Gore Proshell is tough and will keep you dry and protected from the elements no matter what! They have stood up well to pouring rain and near blizzard conditions in the Colorado Alpine. The full length side zips make entry a breeze, built in gaiters work well with ski boots or climbing boots... there is a full front to back zipper (chest to butt crack) to further assist with keeping cool, or dealing with natures call.... my only complaint is that sometimes the zipper gets your butt a bit cold in the winter time. The cordura side patches protect well from abrasions how ever i did manage to punch a crampon hole in the left leg above the cordura patch while taking a high step one day while out hiking.... but it is my fault for not wearing my gaiters.
over all i rate these bibs an 8/10 solely because of there lofty price. A highly recommended bib for your alpine needs!

Have had many days this winter on the the stokes, moutned with the FT 12 bindings. Super light weight combo. They have held up well from the steep and deep to the ice of the North East. A Light weight and responsive ski. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.
