Marla's Bio

From New Jersey originally..exit 82. he he I love the beach, being on and near the beach! And most importantly the Mountains! About 19 winters ago..and 20 years altogether....started working my way across the country..literally..took me 6 1/2 yrs to go from the Atlantic to the Pacific..all in my '74 VW Westafalia! Moved to Utah..for the Snow! duh!! he he Lived in many great towns, had some really awesome jobs, hung with some incredible people and always looking forward to the next adventure...as well as to all seasons.. although...always praying for sick ski season! I love to be outside...whether I'm really getting after it or just out with the dogs...fresh air and adventure is what I crave! !!! When I'm not outside playing...I'm most likely working or sleeping. Yoga, dancing , ice skating, live music , good friends , good food, and lots of laughter are just a few of my other favorite things. I Can also be found in numerous Wizard of the Wasatch photos ..as skiing with freaks like that is ..well..a must! cheers!

For a hard core mtn biker wanting to get something more versatile to add to the quiver of toys, this bike is perfect! Cyclocross riders only will love this bike too of course, but so far, for someone who has been riding mtn bikes for 30 yrs..this has been super fun for him to rally on trails that he had not thought would be fun on any other style bike. The weight difference and overall sturdiness makes this a great ride! Very comfortable. He's 5'10" inseam of 30-31 ..went with the 52". Perfect size.

I am in love with these pants. I have used them for yoga classes and running so far..and the fit and movement are perfect. Running true to size..I have them in an xs. I can usually go between xs and small in pants..and these are great at an xs.. I am 5'2" and 100 lbs..the length I like too. I have a few Stoic brand items and I seriously love them for their fit and performance..the construction of all items are top notch as well. I Highly recommend these pants or any of the Stoic styles.

This jacket I love. It is waterproof, even being so thin, which I love. I've used this as a rain jacket and a ski shell..it does run true to size, with a great fit..but yes, if layering underneath , it is best to size up one size. I ended up with an xs, I am 5'2" 105 lbs. I can go either way sometimes xs-s, I opted for small in this particular jacket , as I wanted a more "fitted" style. Colors are great, design , sweet. :)

Sooo comfy! edges nicely..great rubber, very sticky. Anything that supports Ovarian Cancer Research, has my vote anyway..let alone a kick-a$$ climbing shoe! I I have been using this shoe for mainly sport climbing and bouldering, great heel hook shoe for sure.. but also on some trad routes and it has proven to be a stand up shoe! Love them!

Room 2 Roam

Spacious and easy to set up/break down. With a couple of dogs and a couple of people..this 6 person is so sweet! Room to dress, to move around, I can feed them from right inside the tent, when they wake me at 6 am :),great interior height means ease of entry and exit..durable like a typical Kelty product. For car camping and wanting a roomy simple tent, perfect choice.

Who would have thought such a simple piece of clothing could be so useful! I love this skirt/scarf! I use it mainly as a skirt, over leggings, over a swimsuit..short shorts when running into a store :)! Love it, soft and flowy! One of my go to pieces while in Hawai'i, so handy!!! Own gray and white!

Seriously! For car camping, this is the best thing ever!! So fun to have everything organized without having to go in and out of your "kitchen box". Convenient, super sturdy, lightweight, easy to put together, quick and oh so sweet! :) totally well worth every penny!

Man do I love when fashion meets function, and these bike shorts are that! Sweet chamois, nicely padded, pretty thick. sizing is true..I wear 0-4 depending on what I am buying, bought a small in these at first, went for an xs in the end..perfect fit. Not too tight on the thigh. Love the colors, I own them in Moss and White.

I have mainly worn spandex bike shorts...even a skort over the years..and I find this pair of shorts to be quite comfy. design and fit is flattering. The inseam is not super long..6 or so inches..the chamois is thick with good cushion. I do not wear these on some of the longer rides I do..but for a quicker 20 miler..they work great. Overall..another awesome product from Pearl Izumi.
