If you havent tried this fabric yet, you are in for a treat. Easily the pair of gloves I get the most compliments on, they are soft and warm. They are great for activities like cold weather trail running, biking, or Nordic skiing. I use mine a lot for around town stuff like grocery shopping and café hopping in addition to the above-mentioned activities. They have ribbed rubber fingertips that offer more grip than a fleece glove would normally give you. If you need something with more snow shedding ability you might want to consider the Gripper Glove.
These are my top pick in approach gloves. They are wind resistant and have a great pad on the palm that protects from the wear and tear of crampons and ice screws.
These are easily my favorite ice climbing gloves when the temperatures demand real insulation and waterproofness. They have a removable liner that dries quickly with next-to-the-body heat when you are out on multi-day trips. I have used these extensively for ice climbing, as well as skiing to the South Pole.
