Sure would like a sizing chart
I hope XL == 10-11 US shoe
Buying another pair.
These are great in 20-30 F or for heavy rain and mud.
After many wears (maybe 100 2 hour rides) the strap across the bottom wore out.
I used rubberbands for a while to compensate but they tend to come off.
Shipping is $99, not free, unless you sleep on a loading dock.
This seems a very good price. Ive seen folks compare the build to the fatback Al frame bikes which tend to be $1k more. If the thing rides halfway decent it should be a very good deal.
I would love to get out on the sand this summer...
Any idea how long this build will last in sand? I guess I will have to clean the chain often and wash off the sand/salt probably each ride.
How do I select a size? The size chart made no sense.
I just fit, possibly should have gone for the large.
Really nice fast head band adjustment, great when I sometimes wear a mask in the cold.
Feels really snug. Did not give me a headache or any thing after an hour or so riding.
Very Nice for cold weather. I wore these at around 29 F with ice around on the ground. My feet stayed very nice and warm after an hour on the road. The worked on shoes without cleats just fine. Plenty of room for cleats too.
Have not tried them in the wet yet.
This 4 bike is better than other styles I have used. Better than roof racks, better than the pole type. Main advantage is quick load and unload, and access to the back of the van when loaded.
It is quick and easy to load the bikes.
The add on makes the whole unit a little on the heavy side. I think my wife could not install it or lower it to get into the back when the bikes are on.
If you have a friend to help install and lower the rack it is really fast.
If someone determined wanted to steal the add-on with the back two bikes locked on they could, given time. But they would be moving slow carrying it all and have to cut the bikes off some how. Probably not worth it for them.
This bike carrier is much better than the other 2-4 bike styles and roof racks.
Loading bikes is quick, and removing the rack it fast too.
It does allow you to get in the back of the van while loaded.
We added the extension to make it a 4-bike.
We have it on a Honda Odyssey.
These are a little hard to get out. I have to jiggle for a while.
But what a great idea! And once in they work flawlessly.
The lock helps prevent problems with the bolt coming lose and also gives peace of mind against theft of the carrier.
