Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

I picked this tank up in the Plum color. The color is exactly as it is in the photo. The fit is flowy, without being too oversized. It is not a form-fitting tank. The fabric is nice and light, making it a perfect summer piece to wear with shorts or skirts on those hot days.

I've been buying cheap tanks from Target for layering, but this tank is definitely a step up. The fit is perfect, and fits true to size (I normally wear a small, and small was perfect). The 5% spandex means this tank keeps it shape, even after washing. I only ordered one color, but will be picking up all colors to add to my basics collection.

Every year, I pick up a few more pairs of Volcom Creedler sandals. They may not look it, but I have found these sandals to be extremely comfortable. The straps are pretty soft, and they do not cause any issue straight out of the box. The sandals hold up to constant summer abuse. It's almost hard to believe you get comfort, quality, and durability at such a low price....

I recently purchased a Dakine carry-on, but then was given this Skullcandy bag. To my surprise, the Skullcandy was much better, and I ended up returning the Dakine carry-on. There are a lot more pockets in the Skullcandy Scout to keep everything organized. Also, the bag stands up on its wheels a lot better. This is because the bag has a little more structure to it. The bag also has some extra padding on the outside, so I know whatever I put in there will stand up to any travel abuse.

These little tablets are a life-saver after or during a long hike or bike ride. You can even toss one or two in your hydration pack, to give you constant electrolyte-hydration-goodness. P.S. Long night of drinking around the campfire? Put one of these in your water bottle first thing in the morning, and you will be hydrated and feeling better in no time...

Just picked up a few boxes, because they are on sale, and these are a must-have for hiking/camping/biking. I'm a fan of ProBar's Meal Bar, but sometimes they are just a little too much. These have about half of the calories, so they make a perfect snack to keep you going without weighing you down. Like other ProBar products, they are very tasty. They pack plenty of flavor (not weird, artificial flavors), and the fruit keeps it moist so you don't feel like you need to chug a huge bottle of water after consumption.

I wasn't sure if I would like the Crushers at first, because I don't listen to a lot of music that is bass heavy. But, the Crushers dominate in a lot of other ways. While these are not noise cancelling, they block out noise very well. In fact, much better than some of the higher priced Skullcandy headphones. I've also been using these headphones to watch movies, play video games, etc. The Crushers definitely make watching a movie a much better experience, because the sound is intensified, much like in a theater. Last, I have found these headphones to be great for listening to any kind of music. I love the dial on the ear that allows you to crank up the bass when you want it. For $99, the Crusher beats out a lot of higher priced headphones I have tried.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I borrowed my boyfriend's compression sack last year for a long trip, and it was so great I ended up purchasing two for myself. Girls, are you listening? You can pack MORE clothes! I've used these for backpacking, etc, but I also really love these to take on any trip. You can fit more clothes in less space, allowing you to take a smaller bag (avoid baggage fees), or bring more stuff! I will never go on another trip without at least one of these...

These are a great merino layer to add to your collection. I've used these snowboarding, hiking and at the gym. They feel amazing, and hold their shape well. One thing to note - I normally wear a small in just about everything, but the waist was a little too big. I ended up returning for an XS and they fit perfectly. If you are in between sizes, you might want to go down.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he is pumped on it. He is 5'10"-ish and the medium fits perfectly. He typically wears a medium, so I would stick to your normal size. He says the cuffs could be a little tight if you have bigger wrists, but they are not an issue for him. It is a little looser fit than the down sweater, and a little more puffy, but still maintains a streamlined look and fit. The hickory is true to what you see in the images.

These goggles are some of the best I've had. At first, I was a little skeptical about changing the lens. The first time it took me a few minutes. By the second time I was able to switch out the lens quickly when I got to the resort and realized conditions had changed. I've had other goggles with interchangeable lenses, but they were always a pain. The goggles themselves are super comfortable. I purchased the White Strobe, and the blue/white/green contrast is awesome! Last, these fit so well with my Smith Allure Helmet.

I needed a new flask for an upcoming trip that was both lightweight, and the right size. This flask fits both of those requirements. In case you are wondering, it holds about 13 shots of your favorite liquor. The flask empty is super light, durable and will be able to fit nicely in my bag without taking up too much space. It seals very well, and there is no issue with leaks.

Just picked this up for an upcoming trip, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Super, super light, multi-functional, and will not take up space in my pack. Even though it is so light, it still feels really sturdy and didn't bend easily.

I've had a few of the Wilson shirts and they continue to be great button-downs. This time I bought the Pinata Red and the color is great. The fabric is super comfortable, but not thick like a flannel. What I always love about the Wilson shirts is the fit. Its a great length, providing plenty of coverage and enough length in the sleeves. It has a nice relaxed fit without being too baggy.

These might be my favorite jeans I've purchased from Dogfunk. I picked up my normal size and found these to fit perfectly. They are perfect skinny shape, and the length is perfect for wearing with a pair of flats. I'm 5'1" and find it hard to find pants that aren't too long, but these hit at just the right spot. I also love that these don't have any crazy distressing, and are one solid color.
