Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

I picked up this bag, and several other small accessories from Backcountry, in order to make a birthday gift bag. This was the perfect size for the Pendleton scarf, La Mer watch, and a few other small items I bought for the bag. The bag may have been the star, and is getting daily use from the recipient. I bought the tan, and it is a little darker than the photos.

My boyfriend loves the slim Volcom t-shirts, but has since bought nearly every single color they have. We were excited to see Volcom bring the classic slim shape with a unique pattern. The shirt still fits perfectly, but provides some variety to the plain colored t-shirts. I ordered him the Chili Red Heather, and the color is exactly as you see in the image.

Fit: Runs small

I bought this shirt for my boyfriend, who typically requires a slim-fit shirt in size Medium. This shirt is slim, but it is also a little short for him. Unfortunately he has already washed it, or I would buy the large to see if the shirt is still slim, but with added length. If you are on the fence on sizing, you might want to err on the larger size.

The color of the Olive is exactly as you see in the photo.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked up this case primarily because of its price. I wanted to protect my phone without shelling out a lot of money for a case. Well, my boyfriend accidentally dropped my phone from the bed of my truck, and this case protected my phone! I have had a few compliments on the cacti design as well!

Fit: True to size

I just picked up these wedges in preparation for a wedding I am attending that will require some longer periods of walking. I didn't want to wear any heels or wedges that were too high, but the occasion is a little more formal than a flat or sandal would allow. These are going to be perfect. I have been wearing the wedges around town recently, and these did not require any break in period. They felt very comfortable right out of the box. The adjustable strap around the ankle gives you plenty of size options to adjust to your ankle. The size of the wedge is perfect to give you a little bit of height, without too much to sacrifice your stability while walking. The only improvement I would make on these is there isn't any arch support. If you require serious arch support, you may want to check out some other wedge options.

Fit: True to size

I was looking for a pretty classic dress to wear to a wedding in a few weeks, and was happy to see that Backcountry had quite a few options for dresses. I ended up choosing this dress because of the classic black/white combo. The sizing is perfect. I wear a size small in just about everything, and the small fit properly in all of right places. The cutout detail provides a fun detail, without exposing too much. The fabric is not too heavy, and not too light either. The dress holds its shape well with this perfect balance. And the best part, this dress has POCKETS! I love a dress with pockets. Last, you should consider what kind of bra you are comfortable wearing before you purchase this dress. A traditional bra or strapless bra will not work here, so you will need a different option (or no option!).

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large

I was really excited to get this dress, but it runs VERY large. I ordered a small, which is my typical size. I also have other products by Gentle Fawn in size small that perfectly. I'm pretty confident an XS in this dress would also be too large, as I was swimming in the size Small. The dress was very large around the waist. It also was made for somebody that is either much taller or with a long torso, because the straps were very long.

I will say that the strap on the back is absolutely beautiful, and provides a unique touch to this dress. The fabric is nice and light, with a liner underneath to prevent any see-through issues. If you can get a size that works for you, I would recommend this dress!

I picked this tank up in the Plum color. The color is exactly as it is in the photo. The fit is flowy, without being too oversized. It is not a form-fitting tank. The fabric is nice and light, making it a perfect summer piece to wear with shorts or skirts on those hot days.

I've been buying cheap tanks from Target for layering, but this tank is definitely a step up. The fit is perfect, and fits true to size (I normally wear a small, and small was perfect). The 5% spandex means this tank keeps it shape, even after washing. I only ordered one color, but will be picking up all colors to add to my basics collection.

Every year, I pick up a few more pairs of Volcom Creedler sandals. They may not look it, but I have found these sandals to be extremely comfortable. The straps are pretty soft, and they do not cause any issue straight out of the box. The sandals hold up to constant summer abuse. It's almost hard to believe you get comfort, quality, and durability at such a low price....

I recently purchased a Dakine carry-on, but then was given this Skullcandy bag. To my surprise, the Skullcandy was much better, and I ended up returning the Dakine carry-on. There are a lot more pockets in the Skullcandy Scout to keep everything organized. Also, the bag stands up on its wheels a lot better. This is because the bag has a little more structure to it. The bag also has some extra padding on the outside, so I know whatever I put in there will stand up to any travel abuse.

These little tablets are a life-saver after or during a long hike or bike ride. You can even toss one or two in your hydration pack, to give you constant electrolyte-hydration-goodness. P.S. Long night of drinking around the campfire? Put one of these in your water bottle first thing in the morning, and you will be hydrated and feeling better in no time...

Just picked up a few boxes, because they are on sale, and these are a must-have for hiking/camping/biking. I'm a fan of ProBar's Meal Bar, but sometimes they are just a little too much. These have about half of the calories, so they make a perfect snack to keep you going without weighing you down. Like other ProBar products, they are very tasty. They pack plenty of flavor (not weird, artificial flavors), and the fruit keeps it moist so you don't feel like you need to chug a huge bottle of water after consumption.

I wasn't sure if I would like the Crushers at first, because I don't listen to a lot of music that is bass heavy. But, the Crushers dominate in a lot of other ways. While these are not noise cancelling, they block out noise very well. In fact, much better than some of the higher priced Skullcandy headphones. I've also been using these headphones to watch movies, play video games, etc. The Crushers definitely make watching a movie a much better experience, because the sound is intensified, much like in a theater. Last, I have found these headphones to be great for listening to any kind of music. I love the dial on the ear that allows you to crank up the bass when you want it. For $99, the Crusher beats out a lot of higher priced headphones I have tried.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I borrowed my boyfriend's compression sack last year for a long trip, and it was so great I ended up purchasing two for myself. Girls, are you listening? You can pack MORE clothes! I've used these for backpacking, etc, but I also really love these to take on any trip. You can fit more clothes in less space, allowing you to take a smaller bag (avoid baggage fees), or bring more stuff! I will never go on another trip without at least one of these...
