The good:

very light
upf rated
stain, puncture, and rip resistant
nice colors and pretty good appearance (I wore them in the office then to the trail)

cons:

on RUGGED use, they broke down in the crotch. I was climbing and high stepping on a hike recently and spent most of day with added ball ventilation.

If you're not looking to get nuts in these, they'll probably be great.

incredibly versatile, comfortable, and great for almost all activities I can get into. These have become my favorite hikers. I climb in them. Paddling, beach, ..everything.

Mine have leather uppers instead of the webbing. I'm in hawaii and have these in salt water frequently and high sun exposure frequently. The leather color has faded, and the elastic tightening cord has stretched a little after a solid year of abuse.

They're on sale and I'm thinking of getting another just to have another color.

Great athletic cut and quality you'd expect from a $65 polo. For me (5'11, 165lb, size medium) it's slightly longer than ideal.

Updated - So I have two of these now, and their my favorite shirts. I looked back to by a third in a different color and was bummed to see them all gone. The gusseted sides and trim fit keep it looking crisp all the time. It doesn't wrinkle, wicks great (I live in Hawaii), low odor, easy to clean. Give me a green one please.

Awesome shorts that I use for everything. Super tough and tear/cut resistant. No range of motion retriction. I climb, hike, and swim the crap out of these. Just bought another pair because wearing most of my other shorts feel like garbage compared to these. The description is innacurate. These have two open front pockets, 2 front zipper pockets, and one right rear velcro pocket. They also have a zipper and a nifty sliding snap. I hope these stay in production and color range increases.

Update - still living in these. I have two pair and abuse them without showing any wear. They dry so fast, clean up easy, and don't carry odor - I often rinse them in the shower, throw them outside to dry, and wear them again without problems. Well done.

Based on the pair I bought and my build (5'11, 170, athletic, 32/32 reg), I would hang these with my casual pants a few pairs away from a go to hiker/climber. They're an athletic set of jeans with quality stitching, deep front pockets (i'm forearm deep with a fist son). They are 1% elastane with a flat front - bigger range of motion and durability are available elsewhere. I have flat front jeans and slacks, and like those pants, these grab a bit on the top of the leg behind the knee. Give me some knee articulation, hold the price, and I'll give you a fifth star. When I kick, I like my roundhouses to be head shots.
