I bought the Ridley Orion 105 build from my LBS. I have been riding it since September. It was an upgrade from an aluminum Trek.
I have been thoroughly enjoying the Orion. The ride is very comfortable, but the bike is still stiff when standing on the pedals and hammering. On descents the bike tracks well giving you a confident feel.
I get lots of compliments on the appearance of the bike, with the matte black finish and white lettering. I added some HED Jet 6 wheels with white lettering as well, which just adds to the great looks.
Why do the descriptions say white, when all the pictures clearly look carbon / black /grey? Are they pictures of the item in a dark scheme, or is the label incorrect as white?
I really like this jacket. My first cycling jacket, but it is really warm and nice fitting. I wore it today in 30 degree weather with a wool jersey and a compression base layer and was nicely warm. I got an XXL at 6'0" 205 lbs. 42 chest. It is perfect for layering. An XL would probably work, but might not allow for layering. Sleeves are perhaps a bit long, but no gap at the glove line, regardless of position on the bike. I am really happy with this purchase!
My wife really likes the fit of this top. She looks great in it too!
