I'm in love with the backcountry and everything that has to do with it. I'm currently trying to make a name for myself in my two passions skiing and whitewater kayaking, but its challenging being that I'm only 17 years old. Backcountry.com is my main source for gear and I have a goat stoke on pretty much everything I own. I hunger for adventure and thrive on adrenaline. My life goal is to ski and kayak for bc.com
These or Salomon Rocker 2's?? Im getting into big mountain free-ride, and am going to huck some pretty big stuff. I like the looks of both skis, just wondering which would do me better in the gnar. Also I'm a die hard backcountrier, so I want to consider weight also.
I was a little skeptical at first as to if it would really float it as well as they say, so I turned on the jets full blast in my hot tub and threw it in. It stayed on top. It would get pushed down pretty hard, and popped back up every time. Works. Well worth it, definitely gonna be on my cam any time I'm on the water.
Awesome resolution and crisp footage. Big tip- Learning from experience having my SD card get full 1/4 of the way down the river I was kayaking, Make sure if you are planning on getting a lot of footage, filming a whole trip, or for a long time, Switch it to 720p, not 1080p it wont eat up near as much space on your SD card. Get out there! :-)
I got the Eric Pollard edition of this pack and I love it. Its super comfortable, and has the perfect pockets for everything you need. I use it for backcountry skiing, and it fits my gear perfectly, and has a very sturdy ski carry for when you I want to boot a peak. all in all a great looking pack with great features.
