Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

fits well and feels good on. I brought it for using as a unitard but the potty design reads too functionally to wear about without shorts over. The snaps are metal so have an initial cold bite to them. I wear this one piece for comfort when in for the night ...until the next day when it's time to put on street clothes. Glad to have it.

These pants looked good on the tiny screen but when the package came I put them on and kept them on. The wool is a crepe type weave with good heft and drape. They're not heavy. Not at all scratchy and the perfect length. I'm 5'4" so that was an exceptional surprise. The small is like a generous size 8 but they stay up. The legs are wide but not dumpy. For me they were a lucky, happy find. Thanks.

The coat is warm and that was high priority. As far as the fashion of it , it is OK but I didn't find the rave reviews on style to merit the enthusiasm. The North Face has a down coat out that is longer, to the ankles, and simpler in style with high snap neck and better pockets which I'd prefer. The other preference is the Spyder purple long down coat but was sold out. The 5 star reviews sold me on this one. There are some down coats walking around this city that are gorgeous! This coat is OK and practical. The favored part of all the mentioned coats is the length which gives the comfort of a sleeping bag.

I am returning this vest because the large roomy armholes have gathered gussets that looks like a stretched out shower cap. Yes, a shower cap with your arm coming out instead of your neck. The green is a bright chartreuse. Brighter than in photo. A great color for the vest but not for the big armhole solution. The armholes need something but i believe it to be a poor design decision. It does run big, though a short cut.
Anyway, I rarely return items from BC.com. I praise the shopper who finds the great clothes sold on this site. Thank you.

Though these pants are well made of a light fabric the fit makes me feel heavy. I ordered up as a review suggested but they stretched out quickly and I'd counter that advise and recommend ordering your own size;(6-8 = small). Though baggy there are due to the cut some extreeme body moves that the pant restricts. It is the first item of many from Backcountry orders that I haven't enthusiastically adopted.
