Lisa's Bio

I'm born and raised in Norway, but currently studying in the Sierra's in California. I grew up being active and in the backcountry and live for that. Good and high quality gear is something I highly appreciate because it is part of what determines the experience you get to have alongside nature!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This awesome jacket kept me warm most recently through a mountaineering trip this winter in The Sierras. It is great for climbing because it unzips both from top and bottom so that you can wear it conveniently with a harness. The hood also fits over a helmet. I am 5'10" and 155lb and use a size large because I needed the length on my arms. I am also, however, glad I got that size so I can layer underneath as well as get most out of the loft. I have never been cold wearing this jacket and strongly recommend it.

Great Fit

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this shirt in "Juicy Red" color and love it. The fit compared to many other buttom up shirts is a lot slimmer which I really like. The shoulders also have a greater range of motion without having that "restricted" feeling across the upper arm.

The shirt is perfect for a multiday backpacking trip or just a hot Arizona day. The color is quite a bit brighter than in the picture. I wish there were more colors to choose between because I would get another one.

I usually wear Medium or more often a Large for a comfy more looser fit in shirts and bought M in this shirt which was perfect.

I use D/DD regular bras and have looked for a sport bra with great support while running and soccer that you also don't feel like you are in a prison in. Yes it doesn't give as amazing support as those prison bras, but it's still great. I'm not a fan of bras that cut to close to neck, the weight that close on my shoulders give me a head ache. This bra sits nice wider on your shoulders giving you free mobility. I have never had a problem with the straps sliding off my shoulders.

This is my absolute favorit sports bra. It is perfect for high impact, but also for comfy everyday wear. The velcro straps makes it very easy to adjust the straps for any kind of wear!

I got this jacket with the intent of it being pretty warm - at least warm enough for a fall and spring and maybe a mild winter. As I've worn it through the single Celsius digits I've been amazed by it's ability to keep me warm despite its thickness. I am 5'10" and athletically built and often find that things fir "shot" on me - but this jacket is nice and longer - also great for when backpacking and wearing under a pack.

I've found that because of the jacket's great loft I often am warmer when I only wear a long underwear top underneath instead of a fleece in addition because the fleece get read of the dead air space. When I go backpacking it also converts into a pillow by stuffing it into its own pocket.

I fell into a pond while wearing it once and was able to jump out again pretty fast. My shoes, pants, mittens, and hat were completely soaked, but the polyester shell on this jacket to my big surprise kept out most of the water during to quick unexpected dip so that the jacket still kept me warm while walking back to camp to change. Of course it you stay in water longer it will et wet and loose it's loft, but it can resist it for a little bit.

This is my favorit winter jacket that I have owned so far.

I got this shirt with the intent of using it for backpacking as a long underwear top. I have both in cold and warmer whether and it has worked so well.

I am 5'10" and athletically built, but with a bigger chest so many top as really snug in that area and i end up having to get the in a size larger but have them really big around my waist. I got a Large in this shirt and it has a really great fit! It fits the female curves so well that i use it a lot for everyday wear as well because it is black and simple.

When i bought the shirt online i did not realize that there is another fabric that wraps around the arm from the shoulder, but this added detail (I don't know what function is has) makes it more "fun".

I love these capris! I'm 5'10" and muscular built, but still have an hourglass shape. I got a size 10 and they are loose but still fitted! They are very very comfy! it's great that they have zipper pockets and a belt. they end just below my knee which is perfect. My two favorit aspects are: 1. they fit "around" my hips and not up my hips so that i need a belt to wear them- aka- they're built for women! 2. the material is stretch and quick dry but still looks nice so you can actually wear them with a dressy top.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love capris and wanted to try these out from prAna. I love the color and they fit super comfy and well around waist and thigh, but they flare up a lot at the bottom - much more than I like so I ended up returning them because of that. If you don't mind the flare - go for it because they are so comfy!
