As a Merino, it worked perfectly. I was switching between 3 socks (2 of this Columbia, and another lightweight Trekking socks) during a 50 days trek. The Columbia wicked moisture brilliantly, and prevented, or at least minimized blisters, and kept my feet chafe-free.
No less important, it had no smell what so ever, ever after wearing them for 2 weeks continuously.

The only Con, which is a pretty serious one, is that it's not durable enough. While the other sock remained in good shape, the 2 Columbia began to wear out in the heel and Achilles tendon.

I having a hard time choosing between this bag and the Lamina 20.
I know this is a great bag, but does it worth the extra $$$ compared to the Lamina 20?
The temp diff is fair, also the weight and compression. What makes it cost 30-40$ more? Does it worth it?

I'm about the do the Annapurna trail and the Everest base camp trek in Nepal (huts with beds, but freezing nights). Do you think this will do (in addition to some blankets) or there is no escape from taking a sleeping bag?
I'm a guy, who usually is OK with mild & cold weather.
Thanks
