Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these this winter with a new pair of waders. I bought them one size too big, thinking they were like other wading boots but I was wrong, they were too big. Buy true to size- Patagonia knows you are going to be putting waders on. They certainly add lots of traction for big, clean, rocky rivers, but muckier, small-rock rivers they are just ok. They are quite clunky. They offer great support when wading around the ankle which was a nice change from my old korkers. I think when these blow out (in like...five years at least) I'll go back to Vibrams + studs.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these waders this winter as soon as I learned they were released. I LOVE THEM! I had a pair of mens XS waders that I was making do with, not realizing exactly how important fit was. My old waders were baggy through the butt, and the feet were WAY too big for me. While I liked fishing, I dreaded putting on my gear, and often opted out of long walking days because my waders were uncomfortable for that long. Now, I LOVE FISHING! Not only do they fit amazingly, but they have lots of options for you to find the right fit. Now I can jump in and out no problems, often outfish the hubby, and love fishing on a whole new level. I never would have thought my waders made such a difference until I tried these. The lady at my flyshop warned me that they were much colder, but I haven't experienced that at all. They are a little tight to get on, because they are trying to be cute, and the pockets are considerably smaller than my old waders- just took some getting used to is all. THANK YOU, Patagonia!

I just bought these boots as an upgrade from my 2009 F20's. I was ready for something a little stiffer, but I learned the hard way all the sizes are different. Even though they use mondo sizes, the 23.5 is way bigger than it was in '09. Order at least half a size smaller than you think you need. They are longer through the foot and wider in the toe box.

This jacket is really great for someone who just wants to have one jacket for the whole season. It is super warm, and the inside liner is so comfy you'll want to wear it around all of the time. The material of the shell is really soft, way different than any other jacket I've tried, but is really waterproof too. I found that even if the jacket looks like it is getting wet, you'll stay dry on the inside.
I would size it up one size though, it fits true to size, but if you want some looseness in it for riding, you might want to size up.

I got this board at the end of last season, and I can't believe how much I love it. Coming from the stiffer side of snowboards, I just wanted something fun and jibby to play with, and I totally got it in this board. The rocker is amazing and makes it not only super nice to get jibby with, but really floaty in the fluffy stuff as well. It held up at speed amazingly well on the trannies (I was surprised) and is so light and poppy I got way more height than I've ever gotten before. Not so much for laying down carves on groomers, although it can happen ( I found it just takes some more oomph to get the board up and over the edge), but totally made for the park-rats/future pros in us. :)
I never liked K2 boards before because they always felt way too wide on my size 5 foot, but this one rocks.
Be ready to have to wax it a lot...the extruded base is worth it though.

This board is for girls who want to RIP! The super aggressive sidecut on this board make for crazy-fast edge-to-edge control, and it is super poppy once you can get it to bend.So fun, not for the timid riders by any means, but when you think you are ready to start showing the boys up, this o

PS- I love that forum sells softgoods in the same patterns as the graphics on their boards!!

I use this pack not only snowboarding, but in the summer too. I found that it keeps ice water cold forever, which is awesome, and when I have stuff to put in there, the pack just takes it all. It holds a lot more stuff than you would think by just looking at it. I love it! Great for day hikes or just being outside all day working.

Santa brought me this pack last year and I have used it mostly for climbing trips. I do think that it is pretty great. Very light and nice to use. I feel that some of it's packing space is lost by the Aircomfort system, although that is a rad feature. I don't think I could fit everything I need for an overnight solo (tent, food, sleeping bag, pad, clothes) in here, but definantly a great buy for long day trips or trips where you need lots of gear.

I've worn this jacket everywhere from Maine rainstorms on the beach climbing, to backcountry snowboarding in Utah and It has been great. The low-profile zippers are great for wearing a harness over as I can't even feel them. The hood is nice and big so it fits over my snowboarding helmet and my climbing helmet. I'm a pretty small girl, but I ordered the medium anyway cuz it is great for fitting a down coat under in back country. I've recommended this jacket to a lot of people! It is just the perfect rain jacket.

This is my second helmet, and I totally love it. I never wore my first helmet because I felt pretty lame in it but this one is another story. It's nice and light so I can't even tell it's there and the matte black finish makes for a nice mini graffiti board for my dome. I blinged it out and now I have the most flash-tastic helmet on the mountain! I would recommend trying it on in a shop first though just like any other helmet cuz it fits way different than any other helmet I've tried on. :)
