Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size

This jacket felt super cozy when I tried it on, but it's going back because of the fit. The bottom of the jacket has elastic in it, so it fit tightly where it hit my hips but still had a ton of material left up top, making me look like a marshmallow. I'm pretty petite, and I know Burton typically styles their clothes for the long n' lean. If you are tall or have a long torso, I don't think it would be as much of a problem for you.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small

I was looking for a solid warm outer layer that would be easy to move around in as well, and saw this on Steep and Cheap for a steal at about $80. Wow. The other reviewers are spot on when they say this is the warmest, softest, coziest jacket.

I've worn it in sleet so far and it shed moisture well. It would be too hot for temps above the 40s or 50s, and kept me toasty with just a long sleeve shirt on in 30s.

I wear a small in almost everything, but went with a medium in the jacket. I have broad shoulders and big ta-tas so ladies with smaller chests and small shoulders might could get away with their usual size.

Arms are a bit long and I can fit a snug baselayer or two underneath without feeling too restricted. This jacket would have been much too small if I'd ordered it in my usual size. I'm 5'2'' 120lbs 29'' waist, 36'' bust.

Well, these were disappointing.

I am 5'2'' 120 and ordered the 4 and could've invited someone else to jump in the pants with me and have a pants party. They were HUGE. I don't even think a size zero would've fit, and I haven't worn a 0 in years. The quality was great and I was super bummed they were so huge. I own other articles of clothing from Carve and they've never disappointed before.

I emailed a rep for the company and she said this is a common complaint with the Lanikai pants. If you are larger than my size, I'd definitely recommend them to you. Just email the company beforehand to see what size would fit you.

Bought this baselayer to do some hiking and camping in temps ranging from 45-70 degrees. I wore it over a tank top and it kept me pretty warm while I was moving; had to take it off after I'd been hiking for awhile. Would do really well as a baselayer in colder temps and works great by itself in a more moderate environment.

The specs say it helps to repel odor. I think it only performed fair in that department.

I bought this bag because I was on a budget and it seemed to be the best bet for the money I could spend.

Took it on a weeklong trip to Olympic National Park. Obviously it packs heavier than a down bag, but that doesn't bother me too much.

The stuff bag it comes with works pretty decent for a synthetic bag, though I don't believe it actually packs down to 8.5 x 8.5, like the specs say. Mine seemed to be a couple inches bigger.

Also not sure about the 30 degree rating, it may be closer to 40.

I'm 5'2'' and got the short bag and there was plenty of room to spare.

Overall, I was satisfied with the bag I got for the money I paid.

Stays in place pretty well and saved my hair a little dignity on a weeklong backpacking trip. I can never get headbands to stay on, but this one did just fine. Only needed a little readjustment every now and then.

Only thing that surprised me was how thin the material is. I thought it would be pretty thick. Not a big deal, though. Liked it so much I ordered a couple more.
