I got these for my dad, who is an avid hiker. Right out of the box he took them on a 10 mile hike above Ketchum, ID and they were perfect. Comfortable, sturdy and light boots that never gave any discomfort during that hike or any afterwards (even without breaking them in). The sizing was a bit of a mystery, though, as he normally wears a 10.5 and these fit more comfortably at 11.
He was hiking in low cut hiking shoes before and now can't imagine wearing anything else except these Keens.
This jacket fits true to size. Being taller, 5'10", the large hits perfectly at the hip and is even slimming. The jacket is the perfect amount of worn in, and I have been able to pair it with both jeans and dresses. I bought it for the style and I have found that it is a great layer as I head into a cold winter.
I bought these to replace an old pair of Uggs, and cannot tell the difference. They are super comfortable and unlike some of the other reviewers, I found them to be true to size. I usually don't wear socks with them, but with or without, they are equally as comfortable.
This cage looks great and has the right amount of grip to hold water bottles, but make it super easy to grab. My only complaint is that the cage got in the way of itself when I tried to install it. Once secure, however, it has worked perfectly.
After lugging my not-so-small 17-inch laptop in this backpack for two weeks, I am pleasantly surprised by it in many ways. Even though my laptop does not fit in the sleeve, it fits comfortably in the main cavity along with power cords, to-go coffee mugs, books, and a small purse. The simplicity is on point with current style trends, especially with the zippers and leather detailing. A huge plus, and a surprise, is how comfortable it is, no matter the load, because of padding in the shoulder straps and back panel. I would recommend this for school, work, and travel!
I ordered this in red, and love its vibrancy. The material is relaxed as described and comfortable to wear under the sweltering sun. For some reason, the fit is awkward on me. I have a long torso, so I expected it to be tight and short in the hip, but it rides up when I am riding and doesn't stay tight around my waist. Since I like the material I am going to keep it, but recommend for those women with long torsos to take a pass.
As the previous review mentioned, these run small. I ordered a M, when I normally would have ordered a S. Even the M is a little tight, but luckily the light-weight material is breathable. The padding is in all the right places and even though I was skeptical of the ribbons to pull the glove off, they are awesome. Overall, this glove is the right price for what you get.
I bought these, because I already use SPDs for spin class and wanted a pedal that could double as a platform. After a couple of jaunts around town and longer rides in which I clipped in, I can confidently say that these are great for beginner road bikers and commuters.
They come with SPD hardwear for your shoes.
I returned this sandal after wearing them around my apartment, because they were too tight around the front/toe area. My feet are neither narrow nor wide, so it is possible that with some patience I could have broken them in to fit better. Despite the fit in the front, I liked the mix of simplicity and detail with the braided straps.
I bought this as a separate to miss match with my various bottoms and love the fit. Its secure and the removable halter straps are easy to add and subtract. Another plus is that there is some grip lining at the top and bottom of the bandeau to ensure that it stays on even in the water.
My last pair of Rainbows lasted 8 years and I was excited to replace them with a newer version. These are more comfortable than I remember and after a few days of breaking them in (and a couple blisters later), I wear them ALL the time. I was also pleasantly surprised when I spent two weeks at the beach and they withstood time in the ocean water and dried out quickly. Thumbs up round two for these timeless flip flops!
I got this vest for my Mom who is outdoors most of the day doing various activities. The weight is perfect for layering and that was my main goal in getting it for her. Unfortunately the medium was too big in the armpits and I am going to exchange it for a small. She is tall and thin (5'9" 130 lbs), so this did not surprise me. One thing that she loves about The North Face and that is true about this vest is the length in the torso. If you have a long torso this is the brand for you. Fingers crossed the small fits better in the arms!
I got these pants for my Dad who is an avid biker and wanted something "slightly relaxed" as mentioned in the description. This is true and he liked them a lot! Only problem was that they were too small in the waste and long in the leg (he is 5'10"and 185 lbs). I would recommend these to someone who is slender and tall based off of his experience.
I love the Coast Chevron design, but unfortunately the size small was too big. The colors are true to picture and complimented the black bottoms I was trying to match it with. I played around with straps and finally conceded that I needed an XS (currently not available), because the straps do not tighten/tie. Next time I will order a size smaller.
Maybe I am not hip enough to wear these, but I agree that they are on the small size. I got a medium and wish I had gotten a large (I am 5'4" and 120 lbs). Coverage is good for me, but they are super low rise and tight. With that said, I really like the play on a string bikini with the woven side panels. The back also keeps them looking fresh with fun yet discrete ruching. Despite the small size I am going to give them a go and hope that they forgive with some more usage.
I bought this glove for my Dad after he kept trying to test mine out. He is a nice weather resort skier who is on the slopes 10-20 days a year. I knew from experience with my own pair of the women's version that this glove would be a perfect match for his skier type. It is comfortable, no fuss with the strap system, and dexterous.
I am stoked on this Hydro Flask (fancy term for to-go coffee mug) after two weeks of using it daily. True to the description, the Hydro Flip lid is easy to open and close with one hand, but strong enough to prevent spillage. I have yet to test it on cold liquids, but can assure you that it keeps hot beverages HOT for hours (sometimes too hot, but I learned to keep the mouth piece open to help regulate temperatures).
The stainless steel is extremely durable and even though it's not dishwasher friendly, a rinse after use keeps it quite clean. Recommended for those looking for a to-go coffee mug that is no fuss and substantial.
Love them! At first I had a hard time unzipping the glove quickly, but after a little bit of practice it became second nature. The dual mitten-to-glove functionality is amazing and is especially useful on the chair lifts or on the slopes. They are warm, but I've found myself wanting a glove warming packet on those very cold days. Other than that, the leather is stylish and sleek, the dual functionality is effective and they keep my hands warm enough.
Easy to install and comes with all the needed hardware for SPD shoes.
First Hestra purchase and my initial impressions are that this glove has an extremely comfortable fit. The lining is super soft and even though the pointer finger is part of the split-finger design it stays warm. I have brought this warmth off the slopes and found myself wearing them around town on super cold/wet days. Can't wait to put these through the wringer!
