Familiarity: I've used it several times

I went with the 7 Pump/LW as I am a bigger guy (5'10", 195lbs) and it provides great padding and insulation for me in cold weather. I have spent the last two weeks in Yakima, WA and temps have ranged from 15 degrees up to 40 degrees and I have had plenty of insulation. This pad has been a moneymaker as I am accustomed to using my Army Issue sleep pad.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I recently got this jacket and am having to find reasons not to wear it when I leave the house. It is really comfortable, not too bulky, and is warmer than I anticipated. I bought the XL so that I can layer under it but I am not sure if I will need to. I am 5'10" and 195lbs with a athletic build so the large would have been perfect. The only issue I have is very minor; the color. The site shows the graphite navy looking like a gray/blue but it has more of a deep purple hue to it, especially when the sun hits it. But, that is so minor that it wouldn't change my opinion on this great jacket.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

This was a gift for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. We moved to Washington state about 9 months ago and have began adapting our gear to the climate here and thought a mid-weight jacket would be perfect. Since receiving the jacket, my wife has not taken it off. Everywhere we go she layers it with t-shirts or long sleeve button ups depending on the weather. It is perfect for that in between weather that is so common here in Washington. As with all our Patagonia gear, we highly recommend this jacket. After the raves from my wife, I will be purchasing a men's version ASAP.

I have had several pair of Born shoes and generally love the feel of them. This pair is just as comfortable but after 45 days of owning them, they are coming apart at the toe. The issue I have is that these are not even my everyday shoes, I only wear them about twice a week. I was especially bothered that they warranty is only 30 days. This will probably be my last pair of Born shoes!!!

I originally bought these boots for a trip to Afghanistan to deal with all of the different terrain in the country and they served that purpose better than can be expected. Where I was really impressed is how comfortable they were when I wear them back home just walking around town. They provided a great deal of cusion and support even when walking through town on paved roads. Given that they are GTX your feet will stay warm so take that into consideration when picking socks to wear. Overall, I am highly impressed and I will definitely be looking to Asolo for my next pair of boots.

This is my third pair of Wildcats and I love these shoes as an alternative to traditional running shoes. I am a big guy and they still provide me with the support I need to go on quick little 3-4 mile runs as well as mid-range runs of 6-8 miles. These shoes are great for running or walking around on the hard terrain of Afghanistan so that should qualify them to use anywhere. These great shoes and the awesome deal backcountry gives to service members will keep me coming back for all of my outdoor needs.

I use these socks mostly for running and hiking but they are comfortable enough that you can use them for whatever. I have several pair of SmartWool socks that I love but these are hands-down my favorite. And it is true what everyone says, they do last about a solid week before they start to smell. My only problem is that I now refuse to wear anything except wool on my feet.

Nice shirt but it is what it says it is, a baselayer. I went up to an XL to account for shrinkage but the XL was snug across my chest right out of the box. It would work great as a baselayer but I wouldn't wear it out as a T-shirt. My build is 5'10"/195 lbs. with a 44"chest and 33" waist. So, if you are slim/average build, this could serve both purposes, it just won't for me.
