Super light

This thing is great. I thought it was freakin plastic when i first got it because it is so light! Because of that the metal is a bit soft and i have seen some wear on the inside from clipping to established anchors that are a bit rough. But i love the feel and would recomend this for several applications. But probably look for a larger more durable carabiner for something like a top rope anchor clip etc.

In the picture it is on the left. Petzl William in the center and BD Pistron on right

I've been working with this harness for awhile and I cant seem to get it to fit just right despite the reviews. As for size i am a dead on 31' waist and purcahsed the medium and it needs to be wrenched down to fit which is ok. I first purchased a small and the belay loop was turned to the side because it was just too small of a harness. So I think to get this thing just right for a medium you need a 32' waist or greater. My least favorite aspect of this harness is the gear loops. They are practically flat against the harness and can make clipping trad gear a bit more tedious than some other harnesses

I was really impressed at how warm this layer is. With a 600 fill down jacket i was beyond hot in cold weather. I liked it so much i decided to purchase a Cap 2 layer which fits the climate of were i live better (south east) the cap 3&4 are great for real cold weather or skiing.I am 5'10 Medium Build, 160LBS and a Medium size is where it is at!Worth the $

I think they look great however I in no way would say these are comfortable. I replaced the insole to try and improve that but i just find these shoes hard. Compared to my other NF shoes these just don't feel like the same brand at all. Like others said these are heavy so they are not trail shoes more of a casual shoe which is why i purchased them. My least favorite part about the shoe is the heal. I'm lazy and like to slide my foot in each time. 90% of the shoes i've ever owned have no issues but these the padding crams down and you walk around waiting for it to move back up. This is somewhat my own fault i guess

Sum it up:
Great looking casual shoe
Heavy, not soft shoe
Flimsy weak heal

These are great. They are uber thin and shock me every time i cram my bag in. They are strong where they need to be and thats how they hold up. Id be nervous to long term use it on something like a through hike on the AT. but for normal & consistent use it will hold just fine. Color doesn't matter. A Medium holds my 35 kelty synthetic bag perfectly snug
