Park City, UT but here there and everywhere.

Kyle Harris's Bio

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio Kyle longed for deep snowy mountains in the winter rather than icey sledding hills. Upon graduating high school he packed his wagon (literally, a 940 Volvo Station Wagon) and headed to the mountains of Montana. Rather than studying hard in premed he spent many nights at bars and venues checking out the music scene. Kyle realized there was money to be made in the world of entertainment and gave up on being a dentist. In Missoula, he worked actively in the music scene marketing, promoting, and assisting with hundreds of concerts. Through all of that he landed a gig in Music City, USA (Nashville, TN). Growing extremely wary of country music and the retirement of his boss, Kyle once again took the wagon west to Park City, UT. He enjoys skiing, biking, wakeboarding, sailing, floating rivers, music, and is a mean croquet player.

These socks will make your feet happy. They are warm, breathable and wicking, which means dry happy feet. These socks do the trick no matter what you throw at them. If you are climbing 14,000 peaks in Colorado, these socks will be perfect. Spending the day in the office? These socks can do that too. Smartwool really does know how to make the perfect sock. Pick up several pairs, your feet will thank you.

I love these 3 layer GoreTex pants. They keep you dry when Mother Nature is delivering the white gold from the sky. When sure decides you need some Vitamin D in your life, they keep you comfortable and breathable. If you are too warm, they have massive leg vents if you really want to feel the cool breeze on your tree trunks. The two front leg pockets are massive, which is nice if you like to carry a bunch of stuff with you. Also, the Sliden'Loc attachments with my Arc'teryx Sidewinder SV jacket is a nice touch. Keeps the snow out of the back of your pants on the really deep days. Do yourself a favor and add these pants to your winter wardrobe.

Perfect for all day adventures. Whether you are fly fishing the rivers of the west or island hopping as this shirts name suggests, you will be comfortable all day long. This shirt is stylish both on and off the water, which means you can go right from the river to your second favorite watering hole. Even better the massive chest pockets and hemostat holder means you can bring all your necessary fishing items on you without having to lug a vest or pack with you. You will definitely catch the biggest fish of your life wearing this shirt...

Lithium batteries hate the cold and therefore my phone would die with 80% battery life. It did not matter if I kept my phone on in an inside pocket, the second it was exposed to the cold, it would turn off. This became rather frustrating when trying to meet up with people on the ski hill or attempting to send a text while walking the dog. My friends that had a Mophie on their phone didn't suffer from this same frustration. I really didn't want to succumb to the less than sleek Mophie case, but the toe warmer on the back of my phone wasn't too sleek either. I succumbed. My phone lasts all day and all night. To be fair, it sleek considering I am doubling my battery capacity. Thanks Mophie.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I purchased this as a gift for my friend's 1 year old. No one likes to be cooped up in the house all day, but no one likes to be cold outside either. The Patagonia Baby Bunting is the perfect solution to getting outside with your little ones during the middle of winter. The 600 fill down keeps them toasty warm in the freezing temps and the DWR finish lets you be outside even when it is precipitating. And what's better than oogling over how cute your little kiddo looks when they are dressed up like a fashionable Michelin Man?

It's a hat. Works like a hat. Keeps sun off your face, hair out of your eyes, and soaks up the sweat.

The TGR logo all bright and colorful like the sunset is awesome. It will definitely cause people to do a double take and ask, "where did you get that?" Stand out with this stylish headpiece.

They do it all.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I hopped on the Pinnacle 105 during our Spring ski test at Alta, UT. The conditions started out with frozen, difficult conditions but warmed up as the day went on. Unfortunately, the Wasatch was particularly dry last season so I did not get to test them in the deep soft snow of winters past.

I found myself not wanting to bring the skis back in because they could hold an edge on the frozen hardpack, were quick and powerful in turns, and could blast through crud while remaining stable thanks to their triaxial braided fiberglass and metal laminate. They are a tad lighter than last years Annex 108, thanks to the Konic Nanolite. Due to this the swingweight is lower which you can really feel when needing the skis to be nimble.

I truly believe this ski can do it all and look forward to getting on a pair during a storm day.

Happier Than a Snake on a Cold Day

Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 199 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

Perfect all winter long. No matter what you are doing, whether you are skiing the Wasatch mountains or digging out from Boston's Snowmageddon this jacket is up for the occasion. The Goretex will keep precipitation out and keep you dry on the inside.

Sure it comes at a spendy price tag, but it's an investment into your happiness. It has plenty of features that make it the ideal jacket all winter long. Plenty of pocket space both inside and out so you can spread our phone, cliffbar, and whatever other nicknacks you pack in your jacket out without looking like you have random growth in your single chest pocket. Pit vents let you air it out on the skin track or those warm spring days of corn skiing. On the snowy days, throw the helmet compatible hood on, snug it tight to keep the elements out on the chair lift. There is a pocket on the bicep, perfect for those resorts that use the RFID passes. If you pick up some Arc'teryx pants you can snap the powder skirt in and keep the snow out. Best of all the zipper, as the name suggests, winds up the side. Be happy on the way down when your zipper isn't smacking you in the face, and be happier the zipper isn't rubbing on your chin all day.

Make the investment and outfit yourself with the Arc'teryx Sidewinder to make all your winter dreams come true.

Sure black is classic, black is also the standard. Spice up your ride and make it your own. Chances are your bike is worth more than your car anyway and definitely way more fun. Accessorize your bike with one of the many fun colors of the Troy Lee Designs ODI grips. While they look great, they also perform great. The raised edges keep your hand in place and the blocking pattern provides the right amount of no slip friction. Wet or dry these grips will keep your hands where they belong. Happy trails!

If you don't mind a little extra weight on the way up you will be extremely happy having the Maxxis High Roller II on the way down. Solid choice for those that enjoy the slow crawl up and the fast descent. These tires have excellent grip but will also break loose when you want them to. Until recently I ran these both on my front and back. Just because they are tubeless doesn't mean you won't get flats. I have sliced two of my High Rollers in fast rocky terrain. Luckily these won't break the piggy bank should you put a slice in the sidewall or in between the tread. Regardless be sure to throw a 27.5 tube in your bag. Nothing like having to walk down from the top. Grab a set today and be glad you did!

While the snow has not begun to fall full-time in the mountains yet, I ordered a pair of the Adidas Outdoor CW Zappan II boot. I was looking for something slightly more manageable to wear to the office on the cold snowy days that Park City used to be frequently known for. While Sorel's have their place in the winter's toughest weather... they aren't fun to wear around the office. I certainly hope this stylish yet more sleek boot is up to the task. Now let's pray for snow.

Yes its a beautiful shock pop. This thing, while compact is extra beefy. It's well built and does not leave you feeling like it's going to fall apart in your hands while you get your fork or rear dialed in. The only downside, if you are a weight weenie, you won't want to throw this in your bag. Leave it at home or in the car.

Purchased this helmet for my girlfriend. She has notihng but great things to say about the fit, breathability and comfort. The blue color really stands out and looks great on the trail. As for how well it protects her head... hopefully we never find out.

Whether you are standing on a tropical sandbar casting for bone fish or chucking mice in the evening dusk, the Patagonia sun stretch will keep you looking great while staying dry and comfortable. The fabric is super light yet durable and as an extra bonus, protects from the UV rays of the water. This shirt is perfect for spending the day on the water and ending the day at your favorite joint afterward.

With the Smith Wayward ChromaPop Sunglasses you will be a fish hunting machine. Smith's ChromoPop lens will let you see the water like never before and add in the polarized to cut down on the glare. They are durable and timeless. If you like catching fish, these sunglasses are for you. If you'd rather not catch anything... keep rocking those blue blockers.

Slide on the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus and you will feel like a winged stallion. To be clear I am not a runner. I use these shoes as gym shoes. They are lightweight, comfortable, and have plenty of support. Great for going to the gym, cruising around town, or making your winged stallion dreams come true.

Yes they run a full size too big, yes they aren't Red Wing quality, yes
they are still awesome. This is a great boot for getting around town in the fall and winter. The sole can be slick in snowy and icy conditions so watch yourself. All that said, this boot is stylish and functional. Pair these with your favorite buffalo plaid flannel and some Levi jeans. Head out into the backyard to chop some firewood and watch your lumberjack dreams become reality.

*When waxed the leather turns considerably darker. I prefer it, but be warned.

I recently purchased these for my girlfriend. The material is super soft. She is 5'4", 115 lbs ish. I ordered both an xs and small as she seemed somewhere between sizes. The xs fit perfect. While at the coffee shop she has received multiple compliments. Do yourself a favor and pick these up. You will be showered in love.
