These bibs are the real deal. They are my first pair of bibs but I can tell you now I'll never be going back. Usually ride PI Pro shorts and while I love them these bibs will be beating them out from now on. The length is long (which I like) and the aero laser cut gripper/leg bands are one of my favorite things about these bibs. I was worried about the shoulder straps digging in or moving around but nothing doing there, comfortable all the way. Chamois is great and not too bulky although I have yet to do any long rides. Just picked up a second pair and my biggest dilemma is whether to save them for when I invariably wear out the first pair or just rock them both this season. Aside from the fit, I personally hate all the pink, pale blue, purple, flowery color schemes etc women's gear is often in, men's gear (IMHO) looks so much sharper and catches my eye. These bibs look killer, perfect for all you kick-ass women out there ruling the road or envious wanna-be pros (like me) who just want to look the part and love everything about the sport :-)

This is my fifth stoic shirt from backcountry/S&C etc and while I do love them all this one threw me for a second... I'm 5'10" (have this in XL) and while this shirt is a great longer length and a good fit through the torso the sleeves seem really baggy, almost like a sweater or loose mid layer. The sleeves are nice and long (I sometimes struggle with getting a good length sleeve) although there are no thumb loops which would have been nice :-(

The shallow alpine color is also definitely more green/blue than the blue shown in the photos. Haven't worn it on any beefily cold days on the slopes but it's good on days around freezing or below and I even use it for a short cycles on some of the cooler fall midwestern mornings. All in all, not perfect but I kept it, nice bargain on S&C but I prefer my Stoic merino shirts more than this one

As a new roadie, I can't write based on years of experience but I have to say I love these shorts. Starting out, I wanted top quality gear but I'm not prepared (at this stage at least) to be spending $150-$200 for shorts. They do run a little big, I'm not small (5'10",180lbs two sport college athlete now with bad knees) and wear XL shorts in both Louis Garneau and Zoot but after reading a couple of reviews, ordered the L and they are definately big enough. I have always had very large quads and I would agree with some other posts that even moving down a size, the compression could be better but since I'm not riding centuries in these, I don't find it a major issue. The length is good and I like the grippers, they aren't too tight but will keep them in place. Chamois seems top notch, I'm giving four stars due to my lack of long rides and not having had them long enough to comment on durability. If you can get on sale or on bonktown, snatch them up, I'll be on the look out for another pair for sure
