Kraig's Bio

I enjoy being outdoors. Alaska is one of the few places that remain as far as beautiful untouched land is concerned. I haven't been a savage hiker in previous years but as I grow older I begin to realize the importance of the wild. I hope to venture to new areas this summer.

This tent is great, I took it out for 4 days over memorial weekend. The tent held up to the weather great and was easy to maintain. I had the gearloft and footprint with mine - they were nice and worked well. The tent is water proof so it was obviously easy to keep dry. The air flow is nice through the tent. Simply open but vestibules so air can get through their during the day while you're not using it and you'll find that it dries out quickly. The stakes were nice but the environment (rock) that I lied my tent was pretty unforgiving to them causing 1 to bend and become unusable. Overall I'd recommend this tent to anyone - It is very light for the size and if you're with a larger group you could carry it for backpacking as it packs very small if packed correctly. Thanks Marmot!

This tent is an easy one man assemble. The footprint and gear loft are of very high quality. I plan on using this tent in Southeast Alaska and don't anticipate any problems with the size.
I consider this a very large 2 to 3 man tent for my fiance and small dog. I've set it up in my living room and am very pleased with the size, quality and features this tent has to offer.
I have completed a great deal of research on this tent as well as others. I believe in my personal opinion that Marmot wins hands down. Great product, thank you BC.
