Ruby Mtns in NE Nevada and the Sierra Nevadas. Occasional trip to the Tetons.
Product works as described. My merino didn't pill up when washing and the detergent left little to no scent behind. I will definintely be buying again when I run out.
I jsut receieved these last night and at first glance they appear to be great. They seem to be very sturdy and stout. I love the FlickLock system. I put on a pair of gloves and found that they are very easy to manipulate even with a heavy set of gloves. I will update after I use them for a while.
Received this rack as a Christmas present and I have absolutely no complaints. This thing is a tank. I can put my downhill rig and AM rig both on the rack and it doesn't budge while heading over mountain roads to riding territory. Very stable and well set up.
These socks are great. Light enough for warm days yest heavy enough for when the sun goes away and the temperatures begin to drop. I especially like the added padding in the shin area of the sock. It really does make a difference. Smartwool socks are far superior and are definitely my go to brand for all technical socks.
Has anyone had any experience actually using these in both modes? How do they compare to an actual touring boot?
