Part of the "Silver Tsunami" I grew up in Indiana , have roamed as far as Canada , Alaska , Mexico... I spend my Winters skiing and riding wherever I can when I am not hauling the wounded off the slopes as a Ski-Patroller. The rest of the year I am riding, walking, crawling on the earth or under it , when I am not at work in the Health Care Industry.
A through-hike on the Appalachian Trail in 2001 changed my life forever. I and my wife are joined with others in creating the Appalachian Trail Museum. Please visit the site www.atmuseum.org to know more about this worthy cause. I am also a member of the Nature Conservancy. I sound like another treehugger , don't I... Well , Guilty as charged.
