Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small

I bought both these and the Giordana Laser shorts at the same time. I currently own a pair of Lasers and I knew I already loved them. I figured I would try the next step up while they were on sale. One of my pet peaves in cycling shorts is the legs riding up which causes the chamois to move. These FormaReds don't have the leg grippers to help hold them down. I always thought of myself as having hefty thights, but evidently not as hefty (or muscular, I should say) as the elite cyclists who are more deserving of these shorts. The red perforated Aerofix fabric on the leg cuffs will not be enough to keep the legs from riding up. They are also too large around the leg cuffs. The Lasers fit perfectly around the leg cuffs and have a little bit of silicone dots to hold them down.

Regarding sizing, the FormaReds run slightly smaller than the Lasers everywhere except the leg cuffs. But I believe the material is meant to be slightly compressive.

I also really liked the material, it seems like it would wick moisture effortlessly.

The quality and workmanship are amazing. The slightly higher waistline holds me in and doesn't allow the shorts to roll under my belly. The chamois on both shorts is the same, and exceptional, I might add. Not too bulky, not too skimpy. They really thought of what a woman needs and incorporated that into the entire fit of the shorts.

These run a little smaller than the Roso Corsa gloves, but it could be because they are full finger. I have small hands but longer fingers maybe? They may stretch a little so I'll keep them, they'll work. They aren't weatherproof, but will work well for cooler weather. I have others I will wear if it's below 40 degrees. Otherwise, they are a quality glove with great style, even if they are a little pricey. Not much padding, but then again I'm probably not going to ride 100 miles in the cold. Castelli knows their stuff. They are cut to fit women's hands, not mens just made smaller like other gloves I have owned. And you can't beat Real Cyclist's customer service. They rock.

I absolutely love this jersey. It's not very stretchy, but there is a light brushing of something fleecey inside which will keep this close to your body and warm. They say this will work for temps from 59 to 68, but if I wore this jersey in those temps I would fry. Ok, maybe 62 if its cloudy. It's a little short in front when standing, but that's not what it's for is it? Castelli seems to know women's bodies and this jersey is no exception. It fits like a glove and moves with you even though it lacks the stretch of a summer jersey. But, the best part of this jersey is the style. The sheen, the color, the logo placements - you've just got to love the creativity and thought that went into the design. I appreciate the pockets, the high collar, and the full zip. Thanks, Castelli.

I bought these because I had some Castelli Tyras that I loved. The pad on the Tyras is not near as thick and stiff as the pad on these Vizio Dues. Also, they run smaller than the Tyras. I find Castelli's sizing to be inconsistent for their shorts, but so are a lot of other brands. I would rather spend my money on some other shorts I know I'll get more use out of, such as Giordana.

Super soft and fuzzy inside. A great winter jersey. I usually wear an XL in Castelli but they were out so I gambled on the Large. It's a perfect fit and the XL would have been too big. I can wear it alone or with a base layer once it cools off a little more. I just wish they had put a gripper in the rear hem. I hate it when the backs of my jerseys creep up. Castelli is always stylish and good quality.

These are the best shorts I have ever owned. They fit amazingly well and the chamois is perfect offering just the right amount in all the right places. I don't feel like I'm wearing a diaper, yet I am protected when it counts. Waist band is comfy, leg grippers are just right. After 100 miles in these in 108 degree temps without any crotch issues, I decided these were worth buying another pair. The quality of all Giordana products is exceptional and I am slowly building my collection. I'm 5'3", 138 lbs and the Large fits great. Need to size up with Giordana.

I loved these for the first 20 miles of a 40 mile ride, but about half way through the seam edge of the chamois started to rub and caused huge problems by the time I got home. They need to consider different fabrics or edge construction, because otherwise these would be fantastic. They stayed put with the leg grippers and fit very well. The chamois is the perfect thickness and they were comfortable. Too bad I'll only be able to wear them on short rides.

This would have been a great option if they had used a better fabric choice. I ordered this in white as well as the pink and both were so thin you could see through them. The fabric was also quite stiff and felt very inexpensive. I could see this chaffing in the seams, although I cannot testify to this since I was not bold enough to wear them. I liked how you could adjust the zipper for ventilation and I loved the fit and style. If they would re-create and upgrade this with a better fabric option as well as larger pockets, I would definitely pay more for it.

Anyone who likes their Assos shorts will love these! They are VERY similar in fit, fabric, and chamois. They are not as flattering as some of my other shorts (Castelli, LG), but this is also true with my Assos. However, after 60+ miles, I am not as concerned with flattery as I am comfort and these sure fit the comfort bill. Standing, these shorts bunch in the back, but in the riding position they fit great. The chamois is a little thicker than most so you need to like a thick chamois to like these shorts. The bulk doesn't bother me as I don't walk around much when I ride. They are a little on the long side at around 8 or 8.5 inches, but I am short. The leg grippers keep the legs from riding up and the waist band does not bind. I am 5'3" and 148 lbs and the medium fits great so size down if you are unsure or between sizes. The best part of these shorts is how the chamois comes down a little lower on the thigh than most. This is where I need the protection - not necessarily in the middle of the chamois. I wish more manufactureres would put more padding on the outsides of the chamois than in the middle, but that could just be me. Again, these are almost identical to my Assos which I love. I just wish they would make them a little more flattering/stylish!

I have two of these and love them for warm Summer, long training rides. There are three rear pockets to hold nutrition for long rides and my arms are free and not restricted when they get sweaty. I definitely have to wear a sports bra with this because even with the adjustable internal bra, it just isn't enough support. I am 5'4" and 148 lbs. Had to order an XL for the bust but it does make it a little large in the waist.

These are great gloves. I was concerned about the lack of padding just below the fingers since other gloves have this. Turns out there really isn't much need for it. These are a great fit, the padding is perfect, and they add just the right amount of flash. One word of caution when ordering white gloves - they ALWAYS turn dingy in the wash. Stick to black.

I like this jersey and shrug. The fabric is soft and forgiving and the colors are very true to the pics. The angled pockets in the back were very easy to get into. The shrug was also easy to get off and stuf into a pocket in the middle of the ride when I got warm. Two things I would change about this jersey are the arms and the collar. The arms were too big at the cuff (on the jersey) and the collar on both pieces were stiff and didn't lay right. I think cutting the collar away at the zipper always makes a collar lay better. Otherwise, a great concept and I will be getting a lot of use out of this duo. As always, a great price from Real Cyclist, too!

I returned these because they were too large. The size chart said to order a size up from what I normally wear, but I did not order the size up - and they were still too big. The leg grippers chaffed horibly, but this could be because the legs were too large at the opening. Otherwise, I thought the chamois was great and I loved the fabric. I did not exchange for a smaller size because I didn't feel like they were worth the money. I did feel like the fabric was "cooler" than other shorts I own. I wore them in 105 degree temps and could tell a little bit of difference.

This jersy is very soft and fits great. It is a tiny bit short in the front but I am a little busty so that could account for it. It has three good pockets in the back and there are no issues with chaffing. The only caveat I can find is that the little stars are iron-on decals and will most likely come off at some point. I will wash alone on gently cycle inside out and hopefully avoid the inevitable. For the sale price here at Real Cyclist, it's a great value.

I can't really rate the performance of these shorts because I will not be wearing them. They are pretty transparent! I rarely ride alone and since I don't like the thought of others being able to see through my clothing, I just couldn't wear them. The fabric is soft and looks like the chamois would be pretty comfortable though. Just not for me.

I guess if you're really trying to save space in your drawer, this jersey will certainly fit the bill - it is very thin! It is also on the short side, and so am I. However, even though I am short-waisted, this jersey runs pretty short compared to my others. I bought the lavender and it is a beautiful color, the black accents are stylish and the fabric is very soft. I would definitely say this jersey will wick moisture far better than most, especially since it is so thin. I love the three large pockets in the back and the attention to detail with the terry cloth on the underside of the straps, although you will still need a sports bra. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable jersey that will wick the moisture well even in humid climates, this one is a great choice. Just keep in mind that it is not forgiving of any lumps or bumps!
