Kayla Weiser's Bio

Born and raised out West, I love to play outside. My first and foremost is skiing- I have been telemarking for 14 years, prefer Big Mountain but love mixing it up with touring and park days. #spreadtelemark

In the warmer months, I love to get out mountain biking, climbing, hiking, backpacking, camping, and whitewater boating. I also have a 4 year old Newfoundland fur baby, so if you or your pup have any questions on doggie gear, Camber and I would be happy to help!

These are very close to perfect- they're comfortable, the silicone heel grip really does work to keep them in place, and they seem pretty durable so far so they're not going to waste away after a couple of uses. I just wish that they were a little more no-show! I wear a womens size 7.0 so with them being the One Size they may just not be stretched out so much, but I find that they do still show with Toms. But they work great with basically everything else- even with running shoes the heel grip holds them in place, so that's pretty neat.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked up a pair of these to replace some shredded manufacturers grips on my Juliana, and I do admit I am quite pleased. They are pretty comfortable- not super cushy, but comfortable for a full day of riding. Good and grippy without being obnoxious. I went on a trip and forgot my gloves so I had to roll bare-handed with these, and they worked great (I definitely would have been miserable with my old grips). Super easy to install, I like that they've got the locking rings. The fun colors are an added plus too!

Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 115 lbs
Size Purchased: XS

I adore this top- it's super soft, a really nice fit, and just all around a quality piece. The front accent is nice- not over the top or obnoxious. I got this in the white, and the front half of the shirt is a thicker material so you don't have to wear an undershirt to cover your bra. Easy to dress up with a nice skirt or pants, or wear as an every-day casual top.
As far as fit goes, I typically wear an XS or S in tops and the XS fits perfect. I would recommend sizing down if in between sizes! All in all, another win by Toad&Co, wish there were more colors!

Fit: True to size

These are pretty neat socks. True to size, they stay in place, nice low cut, and keep their shape after washing. The ventilation is nice too! Not much else to say about them- if you're looking for a good solid low sock, I would definitely recommend them!

I picked these up to use as an all-around pair of glasses- for more active wear hiking and biking, and also casual wear around the city. These work very well! They fit my temples nicely- tight but not headache-inducing. The lenses are big enough to offer good protection, but not super oversized. I do wish that the arms were shorter- they're a little long on my head, so they can interfere with a helmet or hat causing need to readjust. Other than that though, they're perfect. Super durable, good looking, definitely would recommend!

Grippy Goodness

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I finally got turned on to platforms, and picked these up- couldn't have asked for anything more! They are nice and wide, and super grippy paired with my Five Tens. They are pretty beefy too- definitely not the lightest chunks, but they won't break prematurely. Just make sure you don't take one to the shin!
All in all, great pedal for the price point. And the fun colors are bomb too.

Once I finally got into mountain biking last year, I learned rather quickly that it wasn't very forgiving... Bone bruise to the elbow, plenty of blood- it was time to step up the game and invest in a good pair of elbow pads. I had purchased the VPD Air knee pads prior, and LOVED how low profile and comfortable they were. These are the same! The fit is again on point- I went by the sizing chart and measured in between a S and M, and got the smaller so I didn't run into the slip issue. As of yet, no issue with them sliding down, though it's a minor struggle to pull them on (definitely worth it though). In the end, they look good, they feel good, and they WORK!

Although I typically go to Ruffwear for the outdoor doggie gear, I fully support spoiling the furry friends in the day-to-day as well. I actually originally purchased this as a gift for a friend's dog, but will be snagging one for my fur-baby too for around the house (we use the Bachelor bed for camping). Super plush, but still easy to store. Love that you can wash the cover easily, and the slip-proof fabric does a great job keeping it in place. So far seems really durable too- even with the 95lb pup romping on it. Another win by Ruffwear!

Smartwool is my personal fav, and these don't disappoint. I picked some up for my bf, and he uses them for both work and play. Super durable- even after multiple uses and washes, and they hold their shape very well! They're a nice light weight, not bulky at all. All in all, if you're looking for a mid-height lighweight bomber sock, look no further!

I can't express how stoked I am on these. I've taken a few too many spills without protection, and I'm getting a little sick of the bruising and blood... Feeling way better now! I LOVE the design- not bulky and easy to fit under shorts, the padding is awesome and easy to mold- I'm not a fan of the hard plastic. The neoprene anti-slip padding actually WORKS too, so long as you get the sizing right! These bad boys stay in place for a full day of riding. They're OK for pedaling, if you're on a ride that has a mix of up n' down.
As far as sizing goes, I strongly recommend checking the sizing chart- I found that to be very accurate (I just used a string to measure and put it up against a ruler). I was in between a S and M, and went with the smaller size so I didn't have any issues of slip.
All in all, if you need some pads- look no further! Ladies or gents, these are the bomb dot com.

I'm a big fan of POC, and I'm digging these shorts! They're accurate in saying that they're a little baggy but not so much that you're swimming in them. I fit comfortably in an XS in their spandies, and picked up the same size in these- they fit well in the waist, almost a little tight but I feel the S would be too roomy- for reference, I wear a 25 in jeans. I am fairly athletically built- between my big ol' quads and the smaller waist, I can't use the hand pockets too well (although this seems to be a common issue with the POC shorts, my bf has the same problem on his Trail Vent Shorts).
The material is great- super durable (I've taken a handful of good spills and no sign of wear or tear). I like the length as well- comfortably fit over knee pads, but not too long for my short stature!

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 120 lbs
Size Purchased: Small

I thought I would love this top, but unfortunately it just didn't work out for me. I'm pretty petite, but have a larger bust and my shoulders are slightly on the larger side. I found it to be way too tight in the armpits, and really wasn't flattering on the chest. Quite honestly, it made me look like a nun- NOT the look I was going for. Wish that it would have worked- the material was amazing!

Great basic graphic tee! The fit is spot on- fits nicely without being baggy, and isn't too short. Its gone through multiple washes and has held shape well (although I would recommend air drying for longevity). All in all, great basic tee to add to the collection!

Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 120 lbs

I got this as a casual/business casual skirt, and it did not disappoint. The fabric is SUPERB- super soft and it hangs nicely. I love the fold-over waistband, I'm rather short and things tend to be too long on me so I love that you can adjust that to your own fit. The overall length is nice- I tend to gravitate towards the floor length or the mini skirt lengths, so this is a great in between.
From what I've read, Toad&Co does tend to run a little large, and this model is no different. I typically wear an XS-S in bottoms, a 25 in jeans, and the XS on this fits- but it's just not as tight as I would expect it to be in the waist. Still looks great, and nothing wrong with a little extra room to tuck in a shirt! All in all, great basic skirt.

I got this for my stepmom who just took it to Indonesia for three weeks, and she loved it! It offers great protection for being on the beach and in the water, perfect for snorkeling. Super easy to pack up too! The fit is great- she typically takes a Medium, and the M was perfect without being too tight. The sleeves are also longer, which was perfect for her as well. Plus, the Black/Papyrus print is super cute! Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a quality rashguard.

I got this for my stepmom who took it on an adventure to Indonesia for 3 weeks, and from the sounds of it, it sounds like it was a life savior! The material is light and airy, great for a sunshirt in the hotter temps. The fit is right on- she typically wears a Medium in tops, and the M fit like a charm. On that note, it does have a little longer sleeves- most sleeves come up too short on her, but these fit well. Overall, great durable sun and adventure shirt- she did say that the colored shirts had some odd bright highlights on the sleeves, so I got her the white and that worked well (it's 100% solid white, no color accents).

I'll come out and just say it, there's really nothing too special about these- they're just a good all around basic casual sandal. I love the flair that the dual strap adds! They're definitely not the most bomber by any means- mine are still holding up strong after a couple of months of pretty heavy use, but you can just tell that you're not getting anything like a Rainbow. As far as fit goes, I found the length true to size, but the straps definitely come tight. I have a fairly narrow and low-profile foot, and I even found the straps to be a bit too tight right out of the box. But with a little wear they did stretch out and work great now!

Great selection of colors if you want to spice up your bike, or if you just need to replace some shredded grips. Super easy to swap out, fits like a charm, and the clamp keeps out of the way with being on the inside, so you can use the full grip. There's nothing super special about these, but they're a great basic replacement grip for your ride!

Fit: True to size

I got these for my man, and they seem to do the trick. He used to have the basic POC full-finger gloves, which worked great as a basic glove but didn't offer too much protection and tore pretty easily. In come the Simi Gloves- great padding without being absurdly bulky (especially on the outter palm area), and the openings on the fingers are great to allow for more dexterity. Super solid velcro closure too, so you don't have to worry about these bad boys going anywhere. Plus, they're really sticky too! Sizing seems pretty standard, he typically wears a size L in ski/bike gloves, and the Large works really well in these. All in all, they're holding up really well after a couple months of riding, definitely would recommend for a good basic lightly padded glove!
