I bought this for my son and after months of continuous wear its still in great shape, and the hood is great because it actually stays on his head, even in windy condition, I will definitely be buying the next size up.

I recently bought this carrier (my first hiking kid carrier) and my 10 month old son loves riding in it. It has a ton a space for gear and essentials and the hip belt pockets are roomy enough to fit my Samsung Galaxy, lip balm, and snacks. It took awhile to get the torso adjustments right, its very easy to adjust, just took awhile to get it right for my frame. I've only used it a couple of times so far but I have two complaints, the first is that the mirror that comes with it sucks, for the price of the carrier I should at least get a decent mirror, and secondly, the sternum strap is quite high, its kinda weird. Other than that, its an awesome carrier, lightweight and easy to use (despite trying to find the right torso adjustments), I'll update after I've used it more.

This is my favorite shirt for hiking in warm weather, Its comfortable, it isn't scratchy and its long enough that it doesn't bunch up under a hip belt. I've also worn this layered under another long sleeve wool shirt in cooler temps and it works pretty well. It keeps you dry and doesn't make you feel like your overheating. I ordered a size up because I prefer a looser fit.

I love this shirt during the winter for outdoor activities. It keeps you super warm and dry and doesn't make you feel clammy or cold when you go from strenuous activity to a break. Its fairly long which makes it great for use under a pack and its very fitted so its also great for layering.

This skirt is very comfy and the material is soft, it comes just to below the knee's on me, I love wearing it around the house or out to run errands. I will say the ribbon thing can be a bit annoying because it won't stay tied or snags on things.

These are by far my favorite winter hiking/snowshoeing pants.
At 40 degrees or below, my legs turn into icicles and I love these pants because they keep them warm. They are are also super comfortable and have a great fit, they sit just below the natural waist (right below the bellybutton)and they are fairly stretchy, windproof, and slightly water resistant.

I bought this on a whim and so far I really like it. I primarily use it as a face mask and it really comes in handy when walking my dog in cold weather, it stays in place pretty well and cuts the wind although if you breathe through your mouth condensation builds up on it and your face but that usually doesn't bother me unless I have to pull the mask down, I've never used it in really cold weather, the coldest its been when wearing it has been about 24 degree's (here in northern New York, that's not very cold haha). Its pretty thin material but gets the job done.

Fit: Runs small

This is a very warm and comfortable sweatshirt and it seems like it would stand up well to a lot of use, I bought a size medium and while the fit is loose enough, it does run slightly small, my one real complaint is the length, it comes to right above my hips and that's a little short for me when it comes to a hoodie, but other than that, its great.

A quick note on TNF's hoodie sizes, while this sweatshirt runs small, the fave-our-ite hoodie in size medium is more like a large.

In the past, I usually bought synthetic materials, mainly because they are easier to find and a lot cheaper but I finally decided to try wool baselayers and I am so glad I did! Synthetic baselayers always leave me feeling clammy and cold, and they rarely dry as fast as you want them to, when I'm working hard to keep a pace it doesn't bother me but when on breaks or I've reached my destination, my body temp plummets and I get cold, fast. That doesn't happen with wool, it really does help regulate body temp and keeps you warm even when your drenched in sweat, and its very soft and comfy and not itchy at all. I wear a size medium and its perfect fit, although I have noticed it shrinks just a tiny bit the first time you wash it, when I do wash it, I always let it air dry. I highly recommend this product, its worth the money.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large

I ordered these not long ago but ended up having to return them. The main reason was size, I ordered an 8 but they had a weird fit, they were snug in the toes but way too loose in the heel which is odd because I have a pair of the Salomon winter boots in 8 1/2, they were also too narrow through the forefoot. Its a shame cause they seemed like there would have been awesome trail shoes.

I have had my venture for almost 4 years now and its just now starting to show slight signs of wear (the outer layer is beginning to peel slightly from the inner layer). I have put this jacket through a lot! Its the only full on rain jacket I own so its worn for daily use and hiking trips, it has pit zips which are super awesome, I will never buy another rain jacket without them, the hood is just the right size and stays put. The jacket recently protected me from a torrential downpour while hiking up a mountain, although I was sweating so much I still ended up drenched, this brings me to my only complaint, when you sweat a lot and your wearing a tee or tank underneath, the jacket will stick to you so I almost wish it had a mesh liner, but that would ruin the jackets packability (I frequently stash this jacket in my purse) so all in all, its an awesome jacket and very affordable compared to other brands. I definitely recommend this jacket. Note on fit, its runs slightly large, in other north face jackets along with other brands, I wear a medium but I had to get a small for this jacket and I still have room to layer fleece underneath.

I bought this pack for single night trips and I tested it during a 4 day hiking/camping trip to make sure it fit well etc... It has plenty of room and several smaller pockets to stash small items. The torso adjustment is very easy to change, the hipbelt is comfortable (although its hard to say what it would feel like when the pack is fully loaded to its weight limit). The hipbelt pockets are large enough for small snacks, lipbalm, a small camera or phone although the zippers need to be broken in a little, I had to use both hands to close them. I didn't have my trekking poles with me but the stow and go looked like it would be very easy to use. While hiking, I got caught in several downpours and I didn't have a rain cover on the pack, the items in the lid compartment did get kinda wet while everything else in the pack got damp, it wasn't too bad but I definitely recommend a rain cover. I will update this review after I have used the pack for an overnight trip.
