So, just bought two pairs and they are the first Merino wool socks I've owned. The first time I wore them, they got soaked pretty thoroughly by rain and slush. By the end of the work day, they absolutely stunk, like wet, awful grossness. My question is: Should this be expected with Merino wool socks each time they get wet? All the comments I've read keep saying how great Merino is, but to be honest if they smell this bad with just water on them, they will be unwearable with sweat stink.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

Really like products from Buff. Have a full size one that I wear a lot, and now a half size one that I'll use primarily as a headband. One small gripe, the fabric feels a little thinner compared to my older Buff. Also, I ordered the Mandala color, and while it looks like shades of purple in the picture , it is most definitely all black and gray.

Fit: Runs large

I really love this jacket. Cuffs can adjust with Velcro to keep them tight or loose (which was my biggest complaint for my old winter coat -- sleeves were open and cold air shot up my arms!) Zipper is sturdy. Tons of cinch cords -- at the hem and several on the hood. Hood is huge, with little accents of fleece to help keep plastic zipper ends or seams from itching your face. It does run a little bit larger than most other jackets I've tried on; however, at 5'11" it's nice to finally have a jacket that is long enough all over to keep everything toasty. Ordered the blue, and while it is very bright, I love the color. Hand warmer pockets are fleece lined too, and there are two internal chest pockets. Also has it's own stuff sack.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small

I really wanted to love these, based on the reviews and the brand reputation. However, I ended up returning them. I am usually and 8 Wide in almost every pair of shoes I own. Following the size guide, I ordered the Large. When they arrived, not only did my heel hang off the back, the leather strap was SO narrow my foot would not fit in between without considerable effort to wedge it in. The leather thong part between my toes was sharp and hurt. Even the leather on the foot bed looked like it was barely attached to the sole. Maybe I just got a dud pair? I know a previous reviewer said they would eventually stretch and form to my foot, but honestly I couldn't see myself dealing with the pain and the inevitable blisters in the meantime.

I got this sweater in Heather Grey, and I really like the details. The three buttons are functional so you can open the flap on the neck; plus it comes with an extra button just in case. The 3/4 sleeves are a good length, a few inches below my elbows. The grey is a little lighter in color than the picture depicts. It's really warm as well.

The flaws are not enough to make me stop wearing it. It's hand wash only, and I find that I have to really be careful how I reshape it as it dries. Also, as the previous reviewer stated, it is a little itchy. I only really notice it on my stomach and back, so a wearing a cami helps just fine.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

I bought this for my dad, who lives in a particularly snowy part of New England. He wears it snow-blowing his driveway (5/8th of a mile through the woods) and working around his 17 acres. He LOVES it... He went out and bought a few more so he could always have a clean one ready to go. It was the sort of product where my dad didn't realize how badly he needed a product like this until he used it.

I ordered one in black. I have had good luck with TNF products running true to size. Kept me dry through a few rains and one light snow. My only gripe is that the cuffs are itchy for me; where the sleeve ends, the waterproof material is bunched up around the elastic and for some reason it will itch a little on the top of my hands where it rubs. Not nearly enough of a complaint to stop wearing it.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Drove across snowy Pennsylvania with all of my wrapped Christmas presents and an fancy dress for a friend's wedding stashed inside this bag (probably not what the manufacturer had in mind!) I used two bungee cords to tie the handles to the bed of my truck. Everything inside survived the constant snow fall and road salt/slush with not a drop leaking in. I only wish there was a way to secure the backpack straps down; even with the straps pulled as tight as possible, I ended up pulling over on the side of the highway to add a third bungee cord around the bag to keep them from flapping in the wind. XL is a big bag, not practical for hiking, but we can't wait to bring it car camping this summer.

Love the colors and made of sturdy fabric. Bought the 30L and 15L. Haven't used them a lot, but plan to this summer while camping. Did a good job of keeping items inside dry while in a pickup truck bed during a heavy snow. Happy with the colors and quality of the fabric.

I just received this set to use on a four-day trip to Puerto Rico in February. I need it to fit clothes for a wedding, as well as hiking clothes for a little sightseeing. This suitcase looks like it will do the job...

The roller *should* fit as a carry-on bag, plus it is hard on the backside but soft and expandable on the front, which I really like. The pop-up handle is light and easy to push up and down, while my old roller was a lot clunkier. The inside is lined with a really dark pink fabric.

The duffle bag / large purse is also really nice. I should be able to fit my regular purse, plus more clothes and even the toiletry bag inside, and still fit it under the airplane seat. The toiletry bag itself is awesome, very similar to the kind of organizers that LL Bean makes. It can't fit full size bottles, just trial size liquids, and it even provides you a clear quart-sized zipped bag for airport security.

I will say that the picture on Backcountry and on the Dakine website is a little misleading in terms of color. It is a dark navy, with really dark pink (almost a cranberry or mauve color.) I actually like it a lot better than the picture, which makes it look like a bright pink.

I usually hate wearing watches. But this watch is so light I forget that it's on my wrist. It has the feel of one of those "causes" rubber wristbands, like Livestrong. I wear it daily. I can't wait to see how it will hold up in the summer, when I basically live on the beach.

The only problem I have is the tiny button on the back which you use to set the time and date can be really tempermental, and can take a few tries before you get the right setting.

Otherwise, highly recommend this watch.

This was my first North Face purchase in Women's clothing (I've always bought mens sweatshirts for the comfort, baggy factor.) I was really nervous that this shirt wasn't going to fit me (I'm 5'10" and am pretty big in the shoulders.) But I love it! The elastic armholes help keep this tanktop tight and covering without being too slender. I also love the length. I took the belt off, but you won't miss it and it still looks really sleek.

I am going to return these shorts. They have a very weird seam that cuts across my butt and makes the shorts tighter in the back than I wanted them to be. There are also no pockets in the back, and I need lots of pockets!

They did run true to size in the waist, and I loved the length, but the fabric was not as heavy as a I wanted it to be. I was planning on wearing them to work outside in the summer, but they feel as if they are going to rip really easily.

Don't get these shorts if you've got a bigger butt, like I do... If you're skinnier, they're probably great.

I have worn this sweatshirt out in the backyard barbequeing every night since I bought it. Got it extra baggy to replace an old favorite sweatshirt that finally fell apart at the seams, and I love it. The lining is the softest of any sweatshirt I've ever owned. It is a lighter gray than the picture, but still decently dark in color. Also, it has a plastic zipper, which I actually like because there is no cold and rough metal to catch on my shirts underneath.
