Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked up this time piece as I wanted something that wasn't stainless steel or titanium in the band. The rubber Oakley Unobantanium strap is solid, and doesn't give the impression that it will tear or wear out. The crown being on the opposite sides sometimes gives me annoyance, as I wear my watches on my right wrist - and it sometimes digs into my wrist if I'm typing too much...

The stainless steel construction is solid, but at times feels too heavy. (I picked up one in titanium from an O store, and love that one a little more due to the weight...)

All in, this is another great Oakley timepiece - stylish, solid, and will serve you well.

So, it's a watch. It's a $2k watch.

OK, so when you get past THAT... you have to decide how much having a titanium, monster sized watch on your wrist - and if that $2k can buy a small car, or pay rent, or a mortgage, or a new wardrobe - or even a few plane tickets.

Once you get past that, you see that it's a really awesome time piece. Collectors will love it, as it's close to the style of their collection that converted into a pocket watch. I saved and purchased one - and while there are days that I wonder why I did - I have never been disappointed with it.

The craftsmanship is amazing - I just wish that Oakley put their perpetual movement into it so that I didn't need to buy a battery. For $2k, I think that's not too much to ask!

All in, I love Oakley time pieces and have several. Great, unique style - all for a mortgage payment on your wrist.

My first experience with Shot Blox was horrible - a Walt Disney World half marathon at night. They passed them out at mile 9 - how in the heck do you scramble to open a pack while running?!? Ended up tossing them into the trash...

Fast forward to hiking... these are great! Awesome to slide into a cargo pocket or pouch on your pack - eat a couple, move on. I wish that there was a multi flavor pack, instead of having to visit a local store for flavors - but that's just me.

These do the trick - and I prefer the caffeine laced ones. Like a gummi bear molded into a cube, they do the trick!

This is a great pillow - definitely better than some jackets in a stuff sack, and compresses down. I've used it on many of camps, and just ordered a replacement - returning one of those that self inflates with foam (that quite frankly, could've best been used as a serving tray).

I love this pillow!

Fit: True to size

My wife loves this jacket - in fact, this order was a replacement for one that she tore a hole in the arm during our last hike. The product is durable - but didn't fully survive the slide down a trail we were traversing down in the snow when she fell and slid on a rock.

The jacket is awesome - light, water repelling, and all around a great fit. She loves it, and needed a replacement (sans holes...)

Highly recommend - first Marmot equipment and I'm thoroughly impressed by its quality!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I ordered a S/M and wear a New Era fitted 7 1/4 baseball hat. It fits well - not excessively loose and not so tight that it leaves marks on my forehead.

My concern echoes the below comment - and I keep wondering if wearing it on a breezy day might cause me to run down a hill after it, or just sacrifice it to the mountain gods.

It's a great little bucket hat - and I'll risk it on hikes because it does the job of keeping sun out of my eyes. However, it won't replace my standard Nike Detroit Tigers hat that I normally hike in just yet...

Started out hiking this weekend and was glad I had made this a last minute order from BC. Worked well, soft, non restrictive, and overall a great cover.

User error didn't have it positioned well and at the end of the day had a nice tan line - but that's on me.

I used these as a back-up glove this weekend hiking in CO. The waterproof and durability held up as a backup to my fiancee's alleged water proof North Face gloves that failed.

Warm, durable during our post-holing trek up towards Grays and Torreys peaks - and I'm thankful that I thought to grab them as a last resort should my gloves give out.

I'm very happy that I had these - well, I know my fiancee is really happy that I had them!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've tried these as an alternative to taking Tylenol PM or shots of NyQuil to sleep. Personally, the results were inconsistent - and I tried them over several weeks. I still have a couple bottles that I'll bring out, but I haven't had the success that I hoped for.

I've been a loyal Hammer supporter, and the Tissue Rejuvenator caps are a great addition to the post-training regimen.

I've been able to recover faster, and push a little harder... knowing that post workout, I'll be repairing my body a little differently with the caps.

I've read some interesting articles that compare these to dropping the equivalent of Elmer's Glue into your body to repair, but for me, personally, I've not had any disadvantages with these.

My post race cap 'meal' is 3-4 Tissue caps, some A/O caps, and Mito Caps - along with a Xobaline tablet. Helps me feel better and ready to roll again!

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I'm 5'10" and 163, and this medium size fit me like a 2nd skin. I debated over it, and it's going back - not because it won't do the job, but I'm worried if I gain any weight, it's going to turn from slim fit to sausage skin fit - just too tight for my taste.

The inner waffle weave and deep zip really had me considering to hold on to it - but I don't want to eat like a dieting ninny just to wear a zip.

OK - so I've been a LOYAL Hammer Nutrition supporter for years. After my first half mary about 10 years ago, and then lagging performance after - I thought I needed to review my fuel strategy. I don't recall where I stumbled on Hammer, but their products are first rate! I've been using them for over 10+ years.

I've found their gels to not be pasty like Gu, and the flavors are very tasty.

While it may contain Maltodextrin, I believe after reading up on the ups/downs of it that it's included because of the ease of absorption into the body and easy energy. The intent is not to make a constant meal out of gel, but to get it into your body for energy and burn. (I found this to be a nice article: http://fitnessfortravel.com/is-maltodextrin-bad-for-you/)

I love the huckleberry and vanilla flavors...

I've been a loyal Hammer supporter for years - and these bars are a great addition to my pantry.

I love the Apple one - and haven't tried the others yet. It's moist and dense, so it fills you up... but not so much that you feel like a bloated oaf.

These go with me to my races and hikes, and haven't let me down yet!

I pop these (an hour ish before per the directions) to get an additional energy supply into my system. By the time they're absorbed and released, I do not feel fatigue as great as before. My typical routine for a long 90+ minute run or a long hike is to stack these, anti fatigue caps, enduralytes, and the anti-oxidant caps.

Definitely able to be stacked with other supplements, I don't go for a run or a long hike without these in reserve.

HAMMER ON!

Anti-fatigue caps help to offset the bi-product that your muscles give off when burning O2. I definitely notice a difference - especially AFTER a run or hike because I'm not cramping up. Since I found these, I've never done a long run or hike without them.

Definitely able to be stacked with other supplements, I don't go for a run or a long hike without these in reserve.

All the greatness in capsule form, Enduralytes are like powdered Electrolytes - which means you can help fuel your body to go further.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift

My fiancee saw these, and fell in love with them. Slowly, but surely, I've been converting her over to the cult of the Oakley - and now that she's found a pair of big framed, tortoise color - with a brush of purple on the interior... she's now converted.

Great for those women that like the large eye protection from dust and junk that blows around - my finacee gives these two thumbs up, and was a very happy girl to open them up as a gift.

Sturdier frame build than her last pair of Oaks, I'm impressed...
