Unless you are dropping on the Jester Pro (feels slightly more stable at ultrahigh sppeds, chundery snow, landing massive airs), this is the best freeride-downhill-park binding on the market. Super easy to get into and out of; releases not a moment too soon or a second too late; Insane power delivery and responsiveness. Your search has ended; buy it, mount it, ride it.
There shouldn't be any issue with a minimum DIN; The detrimental effects of maxing your DIN is reduced binding life. Putting maximum tension on the spring wears it out.
Is it possible to safely wash this rope?
Got these at the beginning of the summer, and started putting some miles on em. Coming from a background of barefoot running, they felt CUSH! Lace system and fit are incredible; after the break-in period, my feet have been in good shape.
They performed well in my early season 3-5 milers, but they really shine in longer stuff. Been hitting some 15-20 mile days and their capacity to absorb shock really reduced joint fatigue and next-day soreness. Only drawback is that after one (fairly full) season of running, the toe box is beginning to degenerate.
PS. Less than adequate traction on wet rock.
