I can really feel the power upper working. The shoe is super comfortable. It fit easily but still felt tight. There was really no break in with the shoe. Very very good on vertical and slabby climbing, every foot step felt solid never had much trust on that type of climbing with any other shoe. Try it out!

The first Demon to come out was my favorite shoe from Mad Rock. It had an amazing toe but a specialized heel which would only work on edges. The 2.0 version took care of this problem. The heel is great on this shoe and it still has the great toe performance. The toe can stick to anything from the most polished footholds to the smallest. Amazing shoe for climbers that like the more steep and overhung climbing.

I bought these retail thinking it was worth the hundred dollars. I was mistaken. I don't understand how Sharma kept his feet on in the old Lowell films... well he does cut a lot. For me, it might be my lack of technique, but I could not heel hook on anything that wasn't a horizontal hold. I found myself slipping a lot with this shoe. However, it does have an all right toe.

I normally wear downturned and stiff shoes and I decided to give this shoe a chance. I wanted something comfortable but still perform well. The Conflicts fit perfectly. It was tight and a little painful but broke in well after 2 days. Great heel. I'm not a fan of the soft rubber in general so I can't say much on the toe, but it is great rubber. Recommended for the moderate and up climbers.
