Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
For me this shoe provides great comfort. I can keep them on for a 2 hour climbing gym session or through long sport routes. There is no concern about pain which I find is a big factor when it comes to climbing shoes.
This climbing shoe handles great all types of climbing (vertical, slab, overhangs). I've tested this shoe from the limestone walls of Finale, Italy to the coarse granite in Joshua Tree. This shoe makes trust in your feet a non issue. The aggressiveness on the toe makes overhang climbing easier, well IMO.
If the initial size fits perfectly, I would recommend going down a half size. It may be a little tight at first but it will mold into a perfect fit. I do this because I do not like any dead space throughout the shoe.
I believe no climbing shoe should cost more than $100. For $83, this is a steal.
