I'm a NY native now planted in UT. Married, new dad, a powderhound, climber and crappy skateboarder.

I've rode customs for the past 5 years, and had a chance to ride the 2011 Flying V a few times at the end of last season. Took it through some pretty mean powder pillows and fell in love immediately. The Flying V keeps the deck afloat without having to mess with your stance or move it back to compensate for deep pow. Needless to say, I bought it that day and can't wait to get it back out this season.

I've been rocking this watch for about a year now and love it. It's lower on the Nixon totem pole of hot watches, but I dig it. I originally bought the 51-30, but it was so big that it was making my muscles on my left are significantly larger simply from having to carry the weight of the 51-30. After looking around a bit more, I settled on the all black Private SS. It's the perfect happy medium as far as size goes...it's not too big and not too small. I recommend.

I love Nixon gear and proudly rock just about anything they put out, but earbuds just aren't their thing...at least not yet. For one, the sounds quality isn't the greatest, but you get what you pay for. I'm not a fan of the nylon chord housing the wiring...with the earbuds in, you hear tons of rustling any time you move due to the chords. I also don't like when one side has a much shorter chord than the other...I've never really understood why some earbuds are like that. I think it's so you can wrap the long side around the back of your head, but I'm just not down with that. Other than that
