Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs small

I've used these a bit, just trying to get them broken in. I've noticed that they're quite tight - but in a good way. My toes don't get cramped side to side, the toe box is pretty wide compared to Evolv and LaSportiva shoes that I've worn in the past. The heal is pretty good, but there's a tiny bit of dead space on the sides making it feel only the slightest bit unstable when heal hooking on the side compared to the back. I wear a size 8-8.5 US and went with a 40 Euro (7.5 US according to size charts), and would probably have gone down one half size if I wanted them to be really tight but they seem good how they are (could wear them out of the box for about 2 or 3 boulder problems, max ~ 10 minutes). On a scale of 1 to 10 for downturnedness, they're probably a 8--I don't know why it says Moderate because they're more downturned than my Evolv Predators which are supposedly very downturned. I would also note that out of the box the midsole is not very soft--they're more of a stiff edging shoe now, but we'll see if they soften up and become more sensitive. One thing I noticed about the reverse slingshot rand was the fact that it drives power to your toes. I could feel my calves initiating the push a bit more than other shoes without this construction, and it really felt like I had a stronger push from my toes. Overall impressions is that they're a great shoe, can't wait to get them broken in!

I bought this bag for about $75 after a random discount... definitely worth $75. I've now slept in it for a week long trip in over 4 feet of snow in Pictured Rocks, MI. Temps were in the high singles to mid-teens at night that week (8-16F). I had a waterproof Gore-tex cover to keep it from getting soaked (mostly from condensation in our tent), and that was plenty warm together. I am 5'7" and 150 lbs. I guess I have broad shoulders...I have trouble moving around (either the zipper slides down, or the whole bag turns with me). "A zippered chest pocket stows your headlamp in case you have to get during the night." I have yet to find this mysterious pocket. Hahaha. Overall though, it's a great bag.

Wow. I hate ear buds. So, I got a pair of skull candy Icon 2's for snowboarding in. They rock for that, but for just listening to music on my computer they suck. So, I got these. They rock. They have excellent sound. They can pump out the bass, but also have great treble as well. Well rounded sound. The Cord length in the description is a little off... its like 18 inches and a 3 foot extension, not 11.5 ft extension. BUT THESE TOTALLY BLOW AWAY ALL OTHER HEADPHONES FOR THE PRICE!!

Talk about great timing. I ordered it last week, and it came about 16 hours before I left for college. How neat is that. Anyway its pretty sick. The colors are even brighter than what they show up in the pics (at least for the Lapis/Plat/Blazing yellow). Not too warm, but a little more than just a shell. Pretty sick. Oh, and ITS SO CHEAP!

Gotta love the feel of the detuned edges. It's floaty, yet handles fine on jumps. I'd go a size smaller than you'd expect, because its relatively stiff for a short board. I ride a 147, and I'm 5'7".... just 2 cm longer board than what i was riding at 5' tall in 7th grade. The base is super fast with some Dakine Nitrous Cake Wax, and the structurn base holds up to anything you throw at it... rails, boxes, rocks, ice, trees, whatever.

Its super hot. Well, heats up fast is what i mean. with my friend's i used once, it took like 5 minute to get it hot enough to wax. this one takes maybe 30 seconds before its melting wax. the temp dial is a little sketchy, but it works alright. the flat rounded edges make smoothing wax super easy. Its cheap too, so use it twice and you've made your money's worth off it instead of taking it to the ski shop.

When I say H.A.M. I mean hard as a m..... you get the point. Anyway, this wax is super hard compared to other brands, so expect an extra 5-10 minutes of scraping. but its super fast and it holds up well on rails and stuff. and it re-melts pretty well if you wanna try to recycle/reuse stuff. Oh, and if you use it for a summer coat, you'll have to reheat it in the fall before scraping.

These pants are sick. They're super comfy.... I've slept in them before. For being relatively thin material, and a slim fit, they're still pretty warm. like -2 degree F days and i got cold because of my boots and gloves before these pants made me chilly. The adjustable waist is nice so that you can throw a pair of sweatpants under without feeling like your choking your thighs.

Yeah, I got these in purple. well Faded Taupe/Deep Burgundy, but let's face it, they're purple. They're so purple I rocked them at my high school prom with a Purple tux. It was legit. Anyway, they seams are starting to fray after a year, and i had to replace the insole liners, but other than that they are super comfy and reliable. Not the best skate shoe, but just chillen on the side of the road makes 'em chuckle.

Seriously. These things are pretty reliable. I took a few slams in the park last year. I thought for sure i'd wreck these baby's. but it turns out they were totally fine. Not the greatest sound, but they fit well over a hat/goggles. Plus they can fit backwards under a helmet and not fall off. Or, just chillen around your neck when the beats aren't pumpin'
pretty sick
