This is by far the best binding I have used. If you like to ski park, hit BC jumps and lines and want to count on your gear to not pre-release and save your knees, this is the binding for you. The pivot design allows for proper heel release with great elastic movement. They are also almost indestructible. There are still pairs floating around from the 70s and you will never see this binding fade out.

This beacon is a great purchase for someone just starting to get into the backcountry. It is very easy to use, although you must practice and practice more so that you are ready to go in the event of a slide. The digital read out and arrow provide quick direction to burials. With 2 antennas, it is efficient but for multiple burials, 3 antennas will be more effective.

Fit: True to size

This is one of the most durable and waterproof jackets I have owned. The fabric is very abrasion resistant and I used this in wet Washington building and hiking jumps and never got wet. The vents allow for great breathability and the fit is a bit relaxed which is great for layering.

I wore this watch surfing everyday for a month straight and have had no issues with it. The tide function is very useful for surfing and you will have all the locals in the lineup asking you for the time. The chrono/wave function is also super useful as you can track how long you have been waiting for a wave and how many you have caught in a session.

This is a great addition to any backpacking trip especially while staying in dorm style hostel rooms. While out of the room i did not have to worry about people going through my stuff. Some people in our group were robbed however the lock deterred the thief from going into my bag. Highly recommend for duffle style bags with only one opening!

This is by far the most effective shovel i have used. The blade is big enough to move snow fast and is great for building jumps in the backcountry. The saw blade is plenty strong to use for cutting down branches to make shelter or clear a path. Super light weight without the saw in the handle. I would reccomend this for anyone who gets in the backcountry for saftey as well as building!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This backpack has a very comfortable fit, especially under a heavy load. The padding
locations are excellent as are the numerous adjustment belts. There are several compartments that offer many access points. You can get to any space in the pack
without taking everything out. The detachable daypack is excellent for "side trips". The Rain Cover fits over the pack well and keeps the pack dry in nasty conditions. Overall, excellent design and craftsmanship.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

These gloves are great. Got them as a gift for my lady friend and she loves em. Not only can she text while keeping her hands warm, but they look sweet as well. Just a heads up, if you have large hands these wont work as they are rather small.
