Joseph's Bio

I've been snowboarding for about 10 years and make it my priority to get out as many days as I can during the winter. In the summer you can find me climbing in Little Cottonwood canyon or backpacking and fly fishing around the Uinta mountains. I'm a knowledgeable climber, snowboarder, and backpacker and I love helping people get into the outdoors.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large

I thought the shirt fit a little bit long. I washed it a few times and was able to make it fit ok. It does wrinkle easily but that's easily fixed by throwing it into the dryer for a couple minutes. The fabric seems thin but tough.

I'm 5'11'' 155 lbs and I bought a medium.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I've worn better but these definitely did the trick and are well worth the amazing value. I took a couple pair on a long climbing trip and really put them to the test. They held up pretty well, were comfortable, and still fit great after a few days of use.

I wear a size 10 and i bought a medium.

The gloves are tough and dexterous enough to tie knots without a problem. My hands stayed warm and dry for both days of ice climbing and they dried super fast each night. The medium size gloves fits pretty snug so if you're going to use an extra liner you may want to size up a bit.

First Day Out

First day out split boarding was a lot of work but a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone just getting into split boarding. The skins did a fair amount of slipping on the steeper hills but that could have been because it was below zero, with warmer temps I think they will be fine.

I'm 5'11'' and I bought he 158

This glove doesn't have any water proof properties. I forgot my regular snow gloves last spring and put these on instead. They were soaked in just a couple of minutes. Check out the Black Diamond Dirt Bag Glove. A minimal glove that will keep you dry for the most part.
