Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Use the Cirque pant for telemark skiing in the spring conditions when no base layer needed. They stretch nice, are very comfortable and can be worn in the 30's with no base layer. The bottom has a zipper cuff to fit over boots and I use OR suspenders but don't really need them. I own Black and Pewter.
Also use the pant for hiking in colder weather, especially good if using snowshoes with my winter boot. Purchased them snug for my particular needs. Wear a medium in all my technical clothing, same for this. 150lbs, 5'6", 34 waist.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Purchased this shoe due to its flat bottom, Mountain biking and an occasional DH ride, and am very pleased with the decision.
Sizing: I wear size 10 and the 44 is perfect.
Waterproofness: excellent, water stays out. At the end of a couple of wet rides, everyone else had soaked feet. Also with the cleats attached the shoe worked fine on flat pedals on the downhill bikes.
With this shoe you are able to pedal without being clipped in, and finding the clip is rather easy due to the flat bottom.
The shoe grips very well, better than my Giro or Shimano shoes with lug bottoms.
There is plenty of padding around the shoe and in the tongue. The laces give me a better fit than velcro straps. They are a little heavier, but it is mountain biking. The shoe performs excellent and I will purchase another pair when needed.

The Rampart pant is an extremely nice pant, however, I chose the Arc'teryx Gamma LT Softshell. The fit was better for me and the feel of the Arc'teryx Gamma LT Softshell is fantastic, they slide over your legs even while working up a sweat. Both pants have the higher crotch making it comfortable for hiking and climbing. The Gamma LT cost more than the Rappart, and depending on what you are looking for, are worth the price. The Rapport would be better in the summer and the Gamma LT would be the 3 season pant. The sizing was accurate with all my other pants.

All the following make the pant great: super comfortable, breathed well, hiked with the pants on a hot day to check out the "ColdBlack" and legs stayed very cool, it's ability to move/stretch while hiking/skinning/climbing, the knees & seat reinforced for wear, drying time is nill, integrated belt, low waist for wearing pack, crotch NOT down between legs hindering walking/skinning/climbing, schoeller material, looks good(not that looks matter), adjustable snaps on bottom cuff. I wear a 36"waist x 30"length normally, the size 50 is perfect.
