Jesse's Bio

Big mountain shredding and mountaineering is what makes me happy. I love going fast, carving big super G turns on my snowboard on the steeps of the west side of North America.

I love this thing. I have ridden Never Summers in the past because I love the solid feel under foot and the excellent edge hold provided. This board is fast and solid in any snow condition. I was amazed that the 156 rode so smooth and solid at any speed. It is stiff but damp and I have yet to have it wash off an edge carving. In the trees it is quick and nimble, more so than most anything else I have ridden. Overall this is an awesome ride, perfect for someone who wants a one board quiver. If you like going fast, dropping cliffs and then throwing 3's in the park on the way back to the lift this is the board for you. It kills it in pow as well.

Yeah, exactly, it is stupid. The person who said this works or worked for (this was last winter) ortovox. They said this in a briefing for a pro patrol at a major mtn in california. To clarify, the guy said that the first edition S1's will not always find a burried F1 in a multi burial scenario. Most of the time it will find them but it has been shown to not always find the F1 in this particular situation.
