I'd like to address this review to anyone who has even slightly hesitated about demoing or purchasing this ski. Get your head out of your a** and get on this puppy! This ski is the most solid and stable tool I have ever slid down a mountain on. No matter where you point them or what speed (the faster the better) these skis will not shy away. In the steep and tight stuff it is incredibly solid and in the open fluff it will change forever the way you ride and view pow. Another aspect I love about the ski is that it was built with the long steep groomed runout in mind. You can hammer the edges and ride beautiful long and powerful carves without feeling like your on an unhewn two by four. It snakes through bumps with ease and the V-tip makes chowder and crud disappear. So, if you've had doubts about trying this ski, please re-think it and hop on a pair. It has entirely changed the way I ski and sparked an intense love for charging whatever the mountain has laid out in front of me.

Just skied these boots for the fist time today. I wore them around the house for a bit prior to skiing them to give my feet a little bit of warm up time before putting the hammer down on the slopes. The boot was very solid and unlike other reviews I've read, not all that painful. I did however have a little hot spot on my lower ankle after about two hours of steady ripping. I also tinkered with the 3D buckle and spoiler adjustments, mostly for experimental reasons and will see if that improves anything. Overall for a fist day out with these boots I would give them two thumbs up. Plenty of stiffness without a forgiveness of comfort. Like the brochure says, it's like a velvet glove in an iron fist. I recommend ’em if you’re not scared of a powerful and responsive boot.
