Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this mat for a backpacking trip to Costa Rica and got so many compliments on the size of it. It is incredibly thin - when rolled, it fit into the side/water bottle pocket of my Osprey Aura 65L. It can also fold up flat. Since it is thin, you can definitely feel anything under you but that only added to the experience of doing yoga on the jungle floor for me - picture your toes gripping roots & contours while in a tree pose. When I needed extra cushion on my knees or head, I would fold the mat over or use a towel. This mat is also very grippy! It kept me from slipping in the humid jungle heat better than my home mat. I used this on the beach as well and found that sand was very easy to shake or brush off.

Bottom line: I love this mat! And I plan to purchase one of the thicker Manduka eKOs for my home as well!

I chose this mat over the prAna Nomad because of it's size. Read my Nomad review here: http://www.backcountry.com/prana-nomad-travel-mat#review-atg427112

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I purchased the prAna Nomad & Manduka eKO SuperLite Yoga Mat to compare before a trip. In the end, I went with the Manduka because the Nomad was basically the same rolled size (if not a little bigger) than my home mat. And because of the textured grip on it, I had a feeling dirt & sand could become a problem.

The Nomad is very lightweight though and it had thick cushioning. I think this mat would be more ideal for traveling with a rolling suitcase and using in hotels or studios. Since I was traveling with a backpack, I was looking for size, over weight or cushion. I also needed something that could handle A LOT of dirt & sand.

Fit: True to size

I'm sad that I had to return these—ordered the medium (which turned out to be too big) and the small had sold out. They have a velvet-feel to them, thicker than your typical spandex legging and SO soft. I loved the pattern & colors too.

I'm 5'6" 120lbs - size small would have been perfect. Oh well...next time!

I LOVE these pants! They are very stretchy, super comfortable, and bad ass. Fit seems true to size for me & the length is great for the long limbed. Wear these out on the town & then pass out on your couch in them after. You won't regret it?they really are that comfortable.

My favorite thing about these pants are all the zippers. They aren't as stretchy as I hoped (as in not stretchy at all), but they aren't too restricting either. I thought they ran a little weird in sizing though. I'm usually a 3, but I could barely pull the 3 over my thighs. The 5 fits great in the legs but the waist is slightly loose. I kept them still and I love them! (27" waist, 5'6" height for reference)

Love wearing these with a flowery, flowy top and some boots. Bad ass + a little girly.

Perfect bag to travel with. It's small, lightweight and zips into its own pocket so you can throw it into your main backpack when you're not using it. I used it as a purse/daypack/beach bag while traveling in Nicaragua. The material held up well with my abuse and it was easy to wash once I got home.

These run small. I got them for my mom and she's always an 11 but they didn't fit. Not much room in the hip area apparently, very straight cut. If you have hips, I'd recommend one of the board shorts with some stretch added - ie. Hurley Phantoms or Volcom Foster Gals (though there are others - search "board short stretch" to find more).
