had this for almost 2 years now....before this USSA edition, mine is just the basic Patsch.holding up very well so far... the DWR treatment is still effective, but like it says "resistant".... it doesnt handle a constant rain. Hood has great coverage, and it does breath decently as a whole. The forearms seem tight, but that could just be my caveman arms....all in all, a solid jacket i always find myself wearing time and time again.

used this thing in hot, dry, cold, wet, humid, and even some light snow......it has never failed me. i was stuck in this for an 8 hour downpour that never let up once, everyone else i was with had leak/or saturation problems with their setups....i stayed bone dry. perfect for 1-2 people, with decent storage room in the vestibule. packs great too with a very quick setup.

I have been using this setup for 4 months now.....absolutely no complaints. Packs great, light, internal space for food or a stove once packed up. Cleans up well, and the pot grabber works quite well.....the carry sack also works great as warmer. i was skeptical at first, but it kept my soup nice and hot while i finished up some other cooking. For the price, this setup cannot be beat....(best for 1-2 people, possibly 3 for a light meal plan)

Tested the bag for the first time this past weekend. The specs are very accurate, size, weight, stuff size also. The temps only dropped to the low 30's so im still eager to test it in colder weather, but the DWR treatment was great. Woke up, shook the bag off and it was perfectly dry. I had plenty of room to move around(im 5'9"), and was def toasty(obviously since its rated much lower than the temps were)one thing the pics do not show is the color finish......its a bit darker red, with almost a charcoal kind of fade to it, hard to describe. i will post some pics up soon.
