The Tom Tom Spark GPS watch has been really great so far. I have been using it regularly for the past month for tracking runs and bike rides. The interface is incredibly simple to use and the battery life has been really great - I can usually go a week of general daily use and 3 or 4 runs/rides (GPS on) on a single charge. It is really great for tracking your workouts and being able to wirelessly upload workouts to a digital interface, the TomTom app leaves much to be desired though.

The activity tracking is okay... honestly I am not that interested in it and I am fairly certain that the sleep tracking cannot be trusted. I would not suggest this watch if that is your primary concern.

NOTE: This watch does have a built in HRM, but you can sync it to a chest strap HRM and/or cadence/speed sensors from TomTom.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

While I like seeing the shift from triple to double and now single front rings (seat tube derailleurs make me gag), I'm not sure what to think of the increasing number of "standard" rings spinning on the back half. I had a nightmare the other day about a 1/37 set up with a 101 tooth low gear. Stop the madness, throw your cassette in the trash and sore a set of these......and a 20 tooth single.

I (like our friend below) was under the impression that the glow in the dark version were actually sunglasses. Once I picked them up and realized they were clear I realized how ludicrous that notion was. The only time sun glasses would glow is when there in your pocket. Buy these and party down....in the dark......after letting them sit in some light for a while.

I spent some time bikepacking this summer in some pretty rough terrain and these performed quite well. The rubber is sticky, the cleat is bellow the plain of the sole and the rockered toe makes walking way easier than my Sidi dominator 5's (which I also love....for pedaling).

I hauled these pants on a multi day Colorado trail ride this summer and while I never got rained on, they did not take up much room in my bag, If you are looking for an ultra light, packable rain pant, this is the one.

These are a must for any one who likes to cover any distance. Trail runners, adventure racers and weekend warriors alike will be able to take advantage of these. Weather you are trying to soldier through the last ten miles with those blister laden feet or going for a little preventative maintenance. these are a must for any medical kit.
